Battery Care
Replace AA batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the screen. If using the BC-02 Solar Power Bank, ensure the 18650 batteries are in good condition and the battery box is protected from extreme heat or direct sunlight to prolong their lifespan.
-
SD Card Management
Periodically check the SD card for available storage capacity. It is recommended to format the SD card regularly (at least once a month during continuous use) to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Always back up important files before formatting.
Troubleshooting
-
Camera not powering on
Check battery installation for correct polarity. Ensure batteries are fully charged or replaced with new ones. Verify that the power button is held down for the required duration.
-
No images/videos captured
Verify that the SD card is inserted correctly and has sufficient free space. Check motion detection settings (PIR sensitivity) and ensure the camera is armed. Ensure the camera is not in 'OFF' mode.
-
Poor night vision quality
Ensure the camera lens and IR/LED sensors are clean and free from obstructions. Check the night vision mode settings (Black IR vs. White LED) to match your requirements.
-
Solar panel not charging
Ensure the solar panel is positioned in an area receiving maximum direct sunlight. Check all cable connections between the solar panel, battery box, and camera. Verify the 18650 batteries in the power bank are functional.
