4. Setup Guide

4.1 Charging the Printer

Before first use, fully charge the printer. The Marklife D210 is equipped with a 2600mAh rechargeable battery.

  1. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the printer's charging port.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The indicator light will show charging status (refer to the printer's LED indicators for specific behavior).
  4. Once fully charged, disconnect the cable.

4.2 Loading Thermal Paper

The Marklife D210 uses A4 size thermal paper. It supports roll paper, fold paper, and specialized tattoo paper.

  1. Open the paper compartment cover on the printer.
  2. Insert the thermal paper roll or folded stack into the compartment, ensuring the printable side is facing the print head.
  3. Gently feed the leading edge of the paper into the printer's feed slot until it is gripped by the rollers.
  4. Close the paper compartment cover.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 App Download and Installation

To use the wireless printing features, download the official Marklife app.

  1. Search for "Marklife" in your mobile device's app store (iOS App Store or Android Google Play Store).
  2. Download and install the app.

5.2 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the printer is turned on and within Bluetooth range of your mobile device.
  2. Open the Marklife app on your smartphone or tablet.
  3. Follow the in-app instructions to search for and connect to your D210 printer via Bluetooth. The app will guide you through the pairing process.

5.3 Printing Documents and Images

The Marklife app supports various file formats for printing, including Word, Excel, PDF, JPG, and TXT.

  1. Open the Marklife app and ensure your printer is connected.
  2. Select the desired printing function (e.g., "Documents printing," "Scan printing," "Web printing," or "Create label").
  3. Browse and select the file or image you wish to print from your device or cloud storage.
  4. Adjust print settings such as scale, print density, number of copies, and paper type (roll or fold paper) within the app.
  5. Tap the "Print" button to start printing.

5.4 Tattoo Stencil Printing

The Marklife D210 is an excellent tool for tattoo artists, capable of printing tattoo stencils on compatible thermal tattoo paper.

  1. Load specialized thermal tattoo paper into the printer as described in Section 4.2.
  2. In the Marklife app, select your tattoo design.

  4. Print the stencil.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Print Head

To ensure optimal print quality, regularly clean the print head.

  1. Turn off the printer and disconnect it from any power source.
  2. Open the paper compartment.
  3. Gently wipe the print head with a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol.
  4. Allow the print head to dry completely before closing the cover and turning on the printer.

6.2 Battery Care

  • Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.

  • Store the printer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Printer Not Turning On

  • Ensure the printer is charged. Connect it to a power source using the Type-C cable and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes.
  • Press and hold the power button for a few seconds.

  • Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged, as low battery can affect print quality.

7.4 Paper Jams

  • Turn off the printer immediately.
  • Open the paper compartment and carefully remove any jammed paper. Avoid pulling forcefully to prevent damage.
  • Ensure the paper is loaded correctly and not wrinkled or bent.
  • Use only compatible A4 thermal paper.

8. User Tips

  • For best results, use high-quality thermal paper specifically designed for A4 thermal printers.
  • Keep the printer's firmware updated through the Marklife app to ensure compatibility and access to new features.
