1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Small Simple Inverter. 5. Setup

5.1. Mounting

Mount the inverter in a location that is dry, well-ventilated, and free from excessive dust or vibrations. Use the two Φ4 mounting holes as indicated in the dimensions diagram (Figure 4) to secure the unit.

5.2. Wiring

Refer to the wiring terminals on the side of the inverter (Figure 1) for connections. Ensure all connections are secure and correctly polarized.

  • Input Power (Single-phase 220V): Connect your single-phase 220V AC power supply to the designated input terminals.
  • Motor Output (Three-phase 220V): Connect the U, V, W terminals to your three-phase motor.
  • Ground (FG): Connect the FG terminal to a reliable earth ground.
  • Control Terminals:
    • +5V, VR, COM: For external potentiometer or analog speed control.
    • M0, M1, M2/RS+, M3/RS-, D1, D2: For digital inputs, communication (RS485), and other control signals. Consult the full technical manual for detailed functions of these terminals.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Basic Operation

  1. Power On: Connect the inverter to the power supply. The Power Indicator Light should illuminate, and the digital display will show the current frequency or a default value.
  2. Start Motor: Press the Start/Stop Key to begin motor operation. The display will show the output frequency.
  3. Adjust Speed: Use the Panel Speed Adjustment Potentiometer to increase or decrease the motor speed. Alternatively, use the Speed Increase/Decrease Keys.
  4. Change Direction: Press the Forward/Reverse Switching Key to change the motor's rotation direction. The corresponding indicator light (Forward or Reverse) will illuminate.
  5. Stop Motor: Press the Start/Stop Key again to stop the motor.

6.2. Parameter Settings

To access and modify advanced parameters:

  1. Press the Setting Entry Key to enter parameter setting mode.
  2. Use the Function Parameter Display Key to cycle through different parameter groups or individual parameters.
  3. Use the Speed Increase/Decrease Keys to adjust the value of the selected parameter.
  4. Press the Setting Entry Key again to confirm the new value and move to the next parameter or exit the setting mode.
  5. To save all changes, press the Save/Lock Key.

7. Maintenance

  • Regularly clean the inverter's exterior and ventilation openings to ensure proper airflow and prevent dust buildup.
  • Check wiring connections periodically for tightness and signs of wear or corrosion.
  • Avoid exposing the inverter to direct sunlight, high temperatures, or corrosive substances.
  • If the inverter is stored for an extended period, ensure it is in a dry, temperature-controlled environment.
