Important: Do not operate the crown or buttons while the watch is wet or submerged in water.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch case and strap regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For the silicone strap, a mild soap solution and water can be used, followed by thorough rinsing and drying.
- Avoid Chemicals: Do not expose the watch to harsh chemicals, solvents, or detergents, as these can damage the case, strap, or seals.
- Temperature Extremes: Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) or sudden temperature changes, which can affect the movement and water resistance.
- Magnetic Fields: Keep the watch away from strong magnetic fields, as they can interfere with the quartz movement's accuracy.
- Battery Replacement: When the watch stops or the second hand starts skipping, it indicates a low battery. Have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the watch in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Watch stops or runs intermittently. | Low battery. | Replace the battery. |
| Time is inaccurate. | Exposure to strong magnetic fields; incorrect time setting. | Demagnetize the watch (by a professional); reset the time correctly. |
| Date does not change automatically. | Date set during restricted hours (9 PM - 3 AM). | Adjust the time past 3 AM, then set the date. |
| Chronograph hands do not reset to zero. | Requires calibration. | Consult a watch technician for calibration. |
| Condensation inside the watch. | Loss of water resistance due to impact or aging seals. | Seek immediate professional service to prevent further damage. |
8. User Tips
- Strap Comfort: The fumed silicone strap is designed for comfort and elasticity. Ensure it's not too tight or too loose for optimal wear.
- Luminous Feature: For best results with the luminous hands, charge them under direct light for a few minutes before entering a dark environment.
- Chronograph Use: Practice using the chronograph buttons to become familiar with starting, stopping, and resetting the timer for precise measurements.
