3. Setup Instructions

  1. Power Connection: Connect the provided power adapter to the device and plug it into a suitable power outlet. The device will power on automatically.
  2. Initial Settings:
    • Upon first use, navigate to the 'Base Set' menu using the keypad.
    • Set the current date and time under 'Time Set'.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Recording Attendance (Punch In/Out)

To record attendance, employees simply place their registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The device will confirm a successful scan with a visual and/or audible notification. Alternatively, use a registered digital password or swipe a registered access card if these features are enabled.

4.2 Downloading Attendance Reports

  1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port on the side of the device.
  2. Navigate to the 'Report' menu on the device screen.
  3. Select 'Export New Logs' or 'Export all Rep' to download the attendance data. The device will indicate when the export is complete.
  4. Safely remove the USB drive.
  5. The attendance data will be saved as an Excel spreadsheet on your USB drive, ready for review and management on a computer.
