Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
- Initial Charge: Before first use, fully charge the speaker using the provided power adapter. Connect the adapter to the AC Power Input on the rear panel and plug it into a wall outlet. The charging indicator will show the charging status.
- Microphone Setup: Insert batteries (not included) into the wireless microphones if required. The microphones are pre-paired with the speaker.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- Press and hold the POWER button on the top panel to turn the speaker on or off.
Bluetooth Pairing
- Turn on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth mode or you can press the MODE (M) button to select Bluetooth mode. The display will show 'BLUE' or a blinking Bluetooth icon.
- Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
- Search for available Bluetooth devices and select "KIMISO QS-289" from the list.
- Once paired, the speaker will emit a confirmation tone, and the Bluetooth indicator will stop blinking.
USB/TF Card Playback
- Insert a USB drive or TF card (with MP3 audio files) into the respective port on the rear panel.
- The speaker will automatically switch to USB/TF card mode and begin playback. If not, press the MODE (M) button to select the correct input.
- Use the PLAY/PAUSE and PREVIOUS/NEXT buttons to control playback.
AUX Input
- Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, computer) to the AUX input port on the rear panel using the provided audio cable.
- Press the MODE (M) button until "AUX" is displayed.
- Control playback from your external device.
Karaoke Function with Wireless Microphones
- Ensure the wireless microphones are powered on. They should automatically connect to the speaker.
- Play your desired music through Bluetooth, USB, TF card, or AUX.
- Adjust microphone volume using the MIC.VOL+/- buttons.
- Adjust the echo effect using the ECHO+/- buttons for a professional karaoke sound.
TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Function
The TWS function allows you to pair two QS-289 speakers together for a stereo sound experience.
- Ensure both QS-289 speakers are turned on and in Bluetooth mode, but not yet paired with any device.
- On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the Bluetooth button (Ⓘ) for a few seconds until you hear a pairing tone.
- The two speakers will connect automatically. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone.
- Now, pair your mobile device with the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described above. Audio will play in stereo through both speakers.
RGB Lighting
- Press the LED button on the top panel to cycle through different RGB lighting modes or turn the lights off.

Charging
- Connect the provided power adapter to the AC Power Input on the rear of the speaker.
- Plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet.
- The charging indicator will illuminate to show that the speaker is charging. It will change color or turn off when fully charged.
- A full charge typically takes several hours. Avoid overcharging to prolong battery life.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the speaker. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, charge the battery to about 50% every few months to maintain battery health.
