5.2. Recording Modes

  • Continuous Loop Recording: The dash cam records video in seamless loops. When the memory card is full, it automatically overwrites the oldest non-essential video files to make space for new recordings.
  • G-Sensor (Emergency Recording): In the event of a sudden impact or collision, the built-in G-sensor will automatically detect the event and lock the current video file, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording.
  • Night Vision: The dash cam features enhanced night vision capabilities to ensure clear recordings even in low-light conditions.

9. User Tips

  • Optimal Card Choice: Always use a high-quality Class 10 or U3 speed rated MicroSD card from a reputable brand to ensure reliable recording, especially for high-resolution video.
  • Regular Formatting: Format your memory card monthly to prevent file corruption and maintain optimal performance. This can be done through the dash cam's settings.
  • G-Sensor Sensitivity: Adjust the G-sensor sensitivity to an appropriate level for your driving conditions. Too high a sensitivity might lead to too many locked files from minor bumps, filling up your card quickly.
  • Cable Management: Properly route the power cable along the windshield trim and under the dashboard to keep it out of sight and prevent it from interfering with driving.
  • Parking Monitoring: If your model supports parking monitoring, ensure it's correctly configured and powered (e.g., via a hardwire kit, if required) to protect your vehicle while parked.
