2. Setup and Installation
This CAN Bus decoder is not equipped with cables. You will need to connect it to your vehicle's wiring harness. Improper wiring can cause damage to the decoder. If you do not have a suitable connection cable, it is recommended to purchase a CAN Bus adapter that includes the necessary cables.
2.1 Wiring Instructions
Strictly follow the pin function description for wiring. Find the 20-pin CAN plug of your wiring harness and plug it into the 20-pin socket of the CAN Bus Box.

2.2 Setting up CAN Bus on Android Head Unit

- Enter Settings: From the main screen of your Android Head Unit, tap on the 'Car Setting' icon.
- Enter Factory Settings: Within the Car Settings menu, locate and tap on 'Factory Settings'.
- Enter Factory Password: You will be prompted to enter a factory password. Common passwords include 3368, 1617, 8317, or 8888. If none of these work, please consult the seller of your Android radio for the correct password.
- Enter CAN Bus Setting: Navigate to the CAN Bus settings, often labeled 'CarType Setting' or 'CAN Related Settings'.
- Select CAN Bus Box Manufacturer: Choose 'Hiworld' as the CAN Bus manufacturer.
- Select Car Model and Year: Select the correct car model and year from the provided list. If your specific car name is not found, you may need to update your Android radio software or try selecting a similar car model.
- Save and Reboot: After selecting the appropriate settings, save your changes and reboot the Android Head Unit.

3. Operating Instructions
Once properly installed and configured, the HYF1.20 CAN Bus Decoder Adapter will automatically translate your vehicle's CAN Bus signals for your Android Head Unit. This enables the head unit to receive and respond to:
