Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Umlo V160, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Vacuum does not turn on. | Battery is not charged or not properly installed. | Ensure the battery pack is fully charged and correctly inserted into the main motor. |
| Low suction power. | Dust cup is full; filters are clogged; brush roll is blocked; hose/tube is blocked. | Empty the dust cup. Clean or replace the filters. Remove any blockages from the brush roll, tube, or hose. |
| Brush roll stops spinning. | Hair or debris tangled in the brush roll; brush roll is jammed. | Turn off the vacuum and remove any obstructions from the brush roll. Clean the brush head as described in the Maintenance section. |
| Short runtime. | Battery not fully charged; using MAX suction mode frequently; battery degradation. | Ensure the battery is fully charged. Use lower suction modes (ECO, MID) for longer runtime. If battery degradation is suspected, contact support for replacement options. |
| LED display shows an error. | Indicates a blockage or system error. | Check for blockages in the brush head, tube, and dust cup. Clean filters. If the error persists, contact customer support. |
User Tips
- Adapter Replacement: If your charging adapter is lost or damaged, contact Umlo customer support for information on purchasing a replacement. Using non-original adapters may void your warranty or damage the device.
- Regular Filter Cleaning: Many users find that regularly cleaning the HEPA filter (at least once a month, or more often with heavy use) significantly helps maintain strong suction.
- Battery Care: For optimal battery life, avoid completely draining the battery before recharging. Store the vacuum in a cool, dry place.
