3. Setup and Charging
3.1 Initial Charging
The AUA-M9 is equipped with a built-in lithium battery for extended use. Before first use, or when the battery indicator shows low power, charge the device using the provided USB Type-C cable.
- Connect the USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the side of the stripper.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
- The charging indicator lights will show the charging status. Ensure the device is fully charged for optimal performance.

3.2 Power On and Automatic Heating
Upon powering on, the AUA-M9 initiates automatic heating to a constant temperature. This ensures the device is ready for stripping with consistent performance.

4. Operating Instructions

- 1-48 peelable bare fibers
- Strippable ribbon optical fiber (up to 4 ribbons)

4.2 Temperature Regulation
The device features dual heating modes with eight levels of temperature regulation to suit different fiber types and stripping requirements. The temperature gear and battery indicator lights are located on the device's control panel.

4.3 Stripping Process
The AUA-M9 is designed to complete the hot stripping of up to 48 optical fibers in one go, significantly improving working efficiency.
- Select the appropriate temperature mode and setting based on the fiber type and coating material.
- Carefully insert the optical fiber(s) into the stripping slot, ensuring they are properly aligned with the limit blade.
- Close the stripper cover firmly. The device will apply heat and strip the fiber coating.
- Once the stripping is complete, open the cover and carefully remove the stripped fiber(s).
- Inspect the stripped fiber for cleanliness and ensure no damage has occurred.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
Regular cleaning is essential for maintaining the performance and longevity of your thermal stripper.
- Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any fiber debris or coating residue from the stripping blades and surrounding areas after each use.
- Ensure the device is powered off and cooled down before cleaning.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the device's surface or internal components.
5.2 Blade Care
The AUA-M9 features a widening limit blade design for precise gap control, ensuring clean peels without leaving traces and preventing damage to the fibers.

- Periodically inspect the blades for any signs of wear or damage.
- If the stripping quality deteriorates, ensure the blades are clean and free from obstructions.
