7. Troubleshooting

7.1 No Display Output

  • Ensure the docking station is properly powered and connected to your host device via the Thunderbolt 4 cable.
  • Verify that your monitors are correctly connected to the HDMI or Thunderbolt 4 ports on the docking station.
  • Check your host device's display settings to ensure the external monitors are detected and configured correctly.
  • Remember the hub supports a maximum of two displays.

7.2 Slow Data Transfer Speeds

  • Ensure you are using the correct ports for high-speed transfer (Thunderbolt 4 or USB 3.2 Gen2).
  • Check the cables used for connecting peripherals; ensure they are rated for the desired speed.
  • Verify that your host device supports the full bandwidth of Thunderbolt 4 or USB 3.2 Gen2.

7.3 Device Not Charging or Charging Slowly

  • Confirm the 240W power adapter is securely connected to both the docking station and a working power outlet.
  • Ensure your device is connected to a Power Delivery (PD) enabled port on the docking station.
  • Note: Devices requiring more than 90W input (e.g., some high-performance gaming PCs) may experience unstable charging or slower charging speeds.

7.4 Ethernet Connection Issues

  • Check the Ethernet cable connection between the docking station and your router/modem.
  • Verify network settings on your host device.
  • Ensure your network infrastructure supports 2.5GbE if you are expecting that speed.
