4. Setup

4.1. Unfolding the Scooter

  1. Place the scooter on a flat surface.
  2. Locate the quick folding buckle mechanism near the base of the handlebar stem.
  3. Release the buckle and carefully lift the handlebar stem until it locks into an upright position. Ensure the locking mechanism is fully engaged and secure.
  4. Adjust the handlebar height if necessary and secure it.

4.2. Initial Charge

Before your first ride, fully charge the scooter's battery. Connect the charger to the charging port on the scooter and then to a power outlet. The charging indicator on the charger will typically change color (e.g., red to green) when charging is complete. Charging time is approximately 4-5 hours.

4.3. Pre-Ride Check

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Powering On/Off

To power on the scooter, use the On/Off Voltage Lock on the handlebar. To power off, turn the key to the off position.

5.2. Riding the Scooter

  1. Starting: Place one foot on the deck and push off with the other foot to gain some initial momentum.
  2. Acceleration: Once moving, gently press the Accelerator lever with your thumb to engage the motor and accelerate.
  3. Speed Modes: Use the Gear Switch button to cycle through the three available speed modes: Eco Gear, Low Speed Gear, and High Speed Gear.
  4. Braking: To slow down or stop, gently squeeze the brake levers on the handlebars. The scooter is equipped with front and rear disc brakes for effective stopping power. The brake light will flash when braking.
  5. Turning: Lean slightly in the direction you wish to turn and gently steer the handlebars. Use the turn signals for visibility.

5.3. Folding for Transport/Storage

To fold the scooter, ensure it is powered off. Release the quick folding buckle and carefully fold the handlebar stem downwards until it clicks into its folded position. This compact design allows for easy storage and transport in a car trunk, on public transport, or in small spaces.

6. Maintenance

6.1. General Cleaning

Clean the scooter regularly with a damp cloth. Do not use high-pressure water jets or corrosive cleaning agents, as this can damage electrical components and bearings. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed when not charging.

6.2. Tire Care

Regularly check the tire pressure of the 11-inch tubeless pneumatic tires. Maintain the recommended pressure (refer to the tire sidewall for details) to ensure optimal performance, range, and safety. Inspect tires for any signs of wear, punctures, or damage.

6.3. Brake System

Periodically inspect the front and rear disc brakes for wear on the brake pads and discs. Ensure the brake levers operate smoothly and provide adequate stopping power. Adjust or replace components as needed by a qualified technician.

6.4. Battery Care and Storage

  • Always use the original charger provided with the scooter.
  • Do not overcharge or completely drain the battery.
  • For long-term storage, charge the battery to approximately 50-70% and store the scooter in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Recharge every 1-2 months to prevent deep discharge.
  • Avoid exposing the battery to temperatures below -10°C (14°F) or above 40°C (104°F).
