1. Product Overview
The AIFEN A99HD is a precision tweezers soldering iron station designed for electronics rework, compatible with C210 and C245 handles. It features dual-channel detection, single-handle support, and 320W high power for efficient and precise soldering tasks.

2. Safety Attention
When the power is on, the soldering iron tip temperature can reach 100°C-450°C (212°F-842°F). Improper use may lead to burns or fire. Please strictly observe the following safety guidelines:
- Do not touch the soldering iron tip or any metal area near it.
- Do not use the station near flammable materials.
- The soldering iron tip is very hot; always turn off the power after use and allow the tip to cool before handling.
- When changing parts or heating elements, always turn off the machine and wait for the tip to cool.
- This product uses a three-wire grounding plug and must be inserted into a three-hole grounded socket. If an extension cord is needed, use a grounded three-wire power cord.
- Do not use the soldering iron for any work other than soldering.
- Do not knock the soldering tip on the workbench to clean it, as this can severely damage the tips.
- Always use original factory parts for replacements.
- Do not tamper with the soldering iron without safety precautions.
- Do not wet the soldering iron, and do not use it with wet hands.
- Smoke will be produced during soldering; ensure adequate ventilation in the work area.
- Do not harm your body when using the machine.
- Keep this station out of reach of children. Do not allow children to get near or touch it.

6. Maintenance and Upkeep
6.1. Soldering Iron Tip Care
- Temperature: Excessive temperature can reduce the lifespan and performance of the soldering tip. Always choose the lowest possible temperature that allows for effective soldering. The A99HD's excellent temperature recovery allows for soldering at lower temperatures, protecting sensitive components.
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the soldering iron tip using a copper wire cleaning ball or copper brush. Residual flux, oxides, and carbides from welding can damage the tip, cause soldering errors, and reduce thermal conductivity.
- After Use: After each use, wipe the soldering iron tip clean and apply a fresh layer of tin to prevent oxidation.
6.2. Repair and Replacement
- Repair: Do not use a file to remove oxidation from the soldering iron tip. Set the temperature to 250°C (482°F). Once stable, clean the tip thoroughly with a copper wire ball or brush. After removing all oxides, re-tin the tip. If the tip is deformed or heavily rusted, it must be replaced.
- Heating Element Replacement: This soldering station uses a heating element integrated with the soldering head. To replace, turn off the power, allow it to cool to room temperature, then remove the old heating element and insert the new one.

7. Troubleshooting
- "No Tools" Display: If the heating element of the soldering station is burnt out, broken, or not properly inserted into the handle, the station will display "No Tools" and emit an intermittent buzzing sound. Check the heating element and handle connection.
- "Short Circuit" Display: If the heating element burns out and short-circuits, the station will display "Short Circuit" and emit a continuous buzzing sound. In this case, remove the short-circuited heating element and turn off the main unit. After 1 minute, the station can be restored by turning it back on.
8. User Tips
- Handle Compatibility: The AIFEN-A99HD soldering station is specifically designed for handles without buttons. Using handles with buttons will cause the buttons to burn out. Ensure you use the single-handle version without buttons.
- Temperature Memory: Utilize the four memory channels (CH1-CH4) to quickly switch between frequently used temperature settings for different tasks.
- Display Modes: Experiment with both "Curve" and "Standard" display modes to find the one that best suits your visual preference for monitoring temperature.
