Maintenance
Replacing Blades
Follow these steps to safely replace the cutting blade:
- Safety First: Before replacing the blade, please ensure that the power has been cut off and the device body has completely cooled down. Wear anti-cutting finger gloves to prevent injury.
- Remove Old Blade: Use the provided hex wrench to loosen the fastening screw counterclockwise. Carefully remove the old blade.
- Insert New Blade: Pay close attention to the correct direction of the blade edge (it should be facing outward). Insert the new blade into the slot of the blade fixing clamp, making sure it is inserted into the bottom of the clamp.
- Secure New Blade: Use the hex wrench to tighten the fastening screw clockwise until the blade is securely in place.

Troubleshooting
The Awgem KE1 features intelligent temperature control and dynamic power protection for cutting quality. It provides visual prompts for potential issues:
- Overpower Warning: If the device is operating under excessive load, all three gear lights will flash simultaneously. Reduce pressure or switch to a lower gear/softer material.
- Abnormal Temperature Prompt: A single light flashing prompt for the third gear indicates an abnormal temperature. Allow the device to cool down before continuing use. This feature helps prevent material carbonization and tool wear.
- Abnormal Input Voltage Prompt: A single light flashing prompt for the first gear indicates an issue with the input voltage. Ensure you are using the correct 12-15V Type-C power source.
