11. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the device is charged. Connect the Type-C cable and charge for at least 60 minutes.
- No Sound from Speakers: Check if the speaker unit is properly connected to the main unit. Verify volume levels on both the S1 and your connected phone.
- Cannot Pair with Phone/Other Intercom: Ensure the S1 is in the correct pairing mode (Bluetooth pairing for phone, universal pairing for other brands, or group mesh for ASMAX intercoms). Try resetting the S1 to factory settings and re-attempt pairing.
- Voice Commands Not Responding: Confirm that "Voice Dialing" is enabled in the ASMAX App. Ensure you are saying "Hi Max" clearly. If using offline commands, ensure you are not connected to the internet via the app.
- Intercom Range Issues: Obstacles such as buildings, dense foliage, or terrain can affect communication range. Try moving to a more open area.
- Poor Call Quality/Noise: The S1 features ENC noise reduction. Ensure the microphone is positioned correctly and the helmet shield is closed for optimal performance.
