3.8. FCA (AutoAuth) Support

FCA vehicles (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) manufactured since 2017 are protected by an SGW (Secure Gateway) security module. This module restricts diagnostic capabilities without authenticated tools. The THINKSCAN 672 can support reading version information, fault codes, and data streams on FCA vehicles without a gateway account. For advanced functions like action testing, clearing fault codes, special functions, and maintenance functions, a gateway account is required. These accounts can be purchased from the THINKCAR website: www.thinkcar.com (Navigate to "Explore" then "FCA").

Compatible FCA vehicles from 2017-2024 include models such as Chrysler 300/Pacifica, Dodge Challenger/Charger/Durango, Ram series, Jeep Cherokee/Compass/Renegade/Wrangler, Alfa Romeo Giulia/Stelvio, Fiat 500X/Ducato, and more.
