6. User Tips
- Optimal Performance: For competitive gaming, use the 2.4G wireless or wired connection for the lowest latency and highest polling rate.
- Battery Life: To conserve battery, switch the mouse off when not in use for extended periods. The mouse will enter sleep mode after a period of inactivity.
- Surface Compatibility: Ensure you use the mouse on a clean, flat surface or a high-quality mouse pad for optimal tracking performance, especially with the high-precision PAW3395 sensor.
- Customization: Utilize the driver software to personalize button assignments, create macros, and fine-tune DPI settings to match your specific needs and preferences.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Mouse Not Responding
- Check Battery: Ensure the mouse is charged. Connect it via the Type-C cable to charge.
- Check Connection Mode: Verify the mode switch on the bottom of the mouse is set correctly (2.4G, Wired, or BT).
- Re-pair Wireless: For 2.4G, unplug and re-plug the USB receiver. For Bluetooth, remove the device from your computer's Bluetooth settings and re-pair.
- Try a Different USB Port: If using wired or 2.4G wireless, try a different USB port on your computer.
7.2 DPI Not Changing
- Ensure you are pressing the correct DPI/Pair button on the bottom of the mouse.
- Check the indicator light color to confirm DPI changes.
- If using custom DPI settings, ensure the driver software is running and correctly configured.
7.3 Lag or Disconnections in Wireless Mode
- Reduce Interference: Move the mouse closer to the receiver (for 2.4G) or your device (for Bluetooth). Avoid placing other wireless devices or large metal objects between the mouse and receiver/device.
- Charge Battery: Low battery can sometimes affect wireless performance.
- Update Drivers: Ensure your mouse drivers and Bluetooth drivers (for BT mode) are up to date.
8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the mouse surface. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Sensor Cleaning: Gently clean the optical sensor on the bottom of the mouse with a cotton swab to ensure accurate tracking.
- Battery Care: Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. For long-term storage, charge the mouse to about 50% and store it in a cool, dry place.
- Cable Care: Do not bend or crimp the Type-C cable excessively to prevent damage.
