2. Safety Instructions
2.1. Warnings
- Do not view the laser emissions for long periods of time with magnified lenses.
- Do not expose the device to temperatures outside the storage range of -20~50°C.
- Avoid direct sunlight to the eyepiece to prevent damage to the eyepiece display or internal components. Always store the device in its protective case when not in use.
2.2. Precautions for Use
- This is a long-distance rangefinder. The minimum measurement distance is 5 meters.
- Glass reflects laser light and can affect measurement results. Do not measure through glass.
- Rainy, foggy, dusty weather, and severe air pollution can affect laser transmission and measurement accuracy.
- Low-light conditions at night require additional lighting to view the readings, as the eyepiece display lacks illumination.
2.3. Battery Safety
- This device uses a Lithium battery that can be charged via a Type C charging cable.
- The battery indicator will flash when charging is needed.
- The indicator light is red during charging and turns green when fully charged.
- If the device is not used for a long time, fully charge the battery and store it in a dry environment.
- Keep the battery away from fire. Do not throw the battery into fire, as it may explode.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Power On/Off
Press the Power Button (1) to turn on the device. The device will automatically power off after a period of inactivity to save battery.
5.2. Unit Switching (Yards/Meters/Feet)
Press the Unit Switch Key (7) on the outside screen to cycle through the measurement units: Yards (Y), Meters (M), and Feet (F).
5.3. Volume Adjustment
Press the Volume Adjustment Key (6) on the outside screen to adjust the volume of the voice broadcast or to turn the speaker off.
5.4. Measurement Modes
The Golf Rangefinder has four main measurement modes, controlled by the Mode Button (2) and the physical Slope Switch (8).
5.4.1. Slope Switch OFF, M1 (Straight-Line Distance)
- Press the Power Button (1) to start.
- Slide the Slope Switch (8) to the left (Slope OFF). The slope light (9) will be off.
- Press the Mode Button (2) to select M1 mode.
- Short press the Power Button (1). The rangefinder will vibrate and display the straight-line measurement data. It will also speak the straight-line distance.
5.4.2. Slope Switch OFF, M2 Scan (Straight-Line Distance)
- Press the Power Button (1) to start.
- Slide the Slope Switch (8) to the left (Slope OFF). The slope light (9) will be off.
- Press the Mode Button (2) to select M2 Scan mode.
- Short press the Power Button (1). It will start scanning, displaying measurement data continuously.
- Press the Power Button (1) again to stop scanning. It will display and speak the last straight-line measurement data.
5.4.3. Slope Switch ON, Golf Mode (Slope Compensation)
This mode provides slope-adjusted distances, which is useful for understanding the 'play distance' on sloped terrain. The slope light will be red to indicate this mode.

Image: Comparison of display when Slope is off (showing actual distance) and Slope is on (showing slope-adjusted distance and angle).

Image: Diagram illustrating how slope compensation calculates ballistic distance based on measured distance and angle.
- Press the Power Button (1) to start.
- Slide the Slope Switch (8) to the right (Slope ON). The slope light (9) will turn red.
- Press the Mode Button (2) to select Golf mode.
- Aim at the slope/background behind the flagpole, then short press the Power Button (1).
- Slowly move the Target Indicator from the background towards the flagpole.
- Once the flagpole is successfully locked, the rangefinder will vibrate and display the slope-adjusted measurement data (play distance). It will also speak the play distance.
- Note: If the slope is positive (uphill), the play distance will be greater than the straight-line distance. If the slope is negative (downhill), the play distance will be less than the straight-line distance.
5.4.4. Slope Switch ON, M2 Scan (Slope Compensation)
- Press the Power Button (1) to start.
- Slide the Slope Switch (8) to the right (Slope ON). The slope light (9) will turn red.
- Press the Mode Button (2) to select M2 Scan mode.
- Short press the Power Button (1). It will start scanning, displaying slope-adjusted measurement data continuously.
- Press the Power Button (1) again to stop scanning. It will display and speak the last slope-adjusted measurement data.

6. Cleaning and Daily Maintenance
The lenses of your laser rangefinder are multi-coated for optimal light transmission. Proper cleaning is essential to maintain performance.
- To remove fingerprints, gently clean the lens with a lens demisting cloth in a circular motion.
- When using a cleaning solution, apply it to the wipe cloth first, not directly onto the lens.
- Store the rangefinder in its protective case when not in use to prevent dust and scratches.
7. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the Type C cable and check the charging indicator.
- Inaccurate Readings:
- Ensure you are not measuring through glass, which can interfere with laser transmission.
- Check for environmental factors like heavy rain, fog, dust, or severe air pollution, which can affect accuracy.
- Verify the correct measurement mode (M1/M2, Slope ON/OFF) is selected for your needs.
- Display Not Visible in Low Light: The eyepiece display is not illuminated. Use external lighting to view readings in dark conditions.
- Flagpole Not Locking: Ensure you are in Golf Mode (Slope ON) and slowly sweeping the target indicator from the background to the flagpole.
- Voice Broadcast Issues: Check the volume setting using the Volume Adjustment Key.
User Tips:
- For best results, avoid measuring through glass or in adverse weather conditions.
- Keep the lenses clean to ensure clear vision and accurate measurements.
- Familiarize yourself with the different modes (M1, M2, Slope ON/OFF) to utilize the rangefinder effectively for various golfing scenarios.
