2. Setup Guide
Important Note: Region Selection
This product version is for the China region. When adding cameras, please select the Chinese server in the Mijia settings.
Physical Installation
- The camera can be placed on a flat surface or mounted on the ceiling for optimal coverage.
- Connect the power adapter cable into the camera power port. The camera will automatically power on.
- Wait for the indicator light to turn solid yellow and for a voice prompt indicating successful power-on.
App Configuration (Mi Home App)
- Download and install the Mi Home app on your smartphone.
- Open the Mi Home app. Navigate to "Profile" -> "Additional settings".
- In "Language & region", set the "Region" to "Chinese Mainland".
- On the app's main screen, tap the "+" icon in the upper right corner, then select "Scan" to add a new device.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to reset the camera if prompted. Press and hold the reset button for approximately 10 seconds until the indicator blinks orange. Then, click "Device Reset" in the app.
- Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (5GHz networks are not supported) and enter the password. Ensure the Wi-Fi name only contains alphanumeric characters. Click "Next".
- Continue following the app prompts until the connection is successful. The indicator light will turn solid blue upon successful connection.
Note: Ensure a smooth network connection during the process. The camera's indicator light should be solid yellow before connection; after successful connection, it will be solid blue.

3. Operating Instructions
Dual Camera System
- The C300 features a dual-camera setup with a 6mm telephoto lens for detailed close-up shots and a 2.8mm short-focus lens for wide-angle, full-scene coverage.
- This allows for simultaneous viewing of both overall scenes and specific details, providing a comprehensive surveillance experience.


360° Panoramic Monitoring
- The PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) camera offers 360° multi-directional capture, while the fixed camera provides single-directional capture, ensuring comprehensive surveillance.
Dual-Screen Viewing and Playback
- View live footage from both cameras simultaneously on a dual-screen interface within the Mi Home app.
- Access dual-screen playback to review recorded footage from both lenses.
- Tap and hold on the screen to view details on fixed camera footage, and the PTZ camera will rotate and zoom to track important events.


AI Detection Features
- Humanoid Linkage Tracking: The fixed camera detects human motion, and the PTZ camera automatically tracks the movement.

- Camera Not Powering On:
- Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the camera and a working power outlet.
- Verify the power outlet is functional by testing it with another device.
- Cannot Connect to Mi Home App:
- Region Setting: Double-check that the Mi Home app region is set to "Chinese Mainland" (Profile > Additional settings > Language & region > Region).
- Wi-Fi Network: Ensure you are connecting to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. 5GHz networks are not supported.
- Wi-Fi Password: Verify the Wi-Fi password is correct and contains only alphanumeric characters.
- Indicator Light: The camera's indicator light should be solid yellow before attempting to connect. If it's not, reset the device.
- Reset Device: If connection issues persist, press and hold the reset button for approximately 10 seconds until the indicator blinks orange, then try the setup process again.
- Poor Video Quality:
- Check your Wi-Fi signal strength. A weak signal can affect video streaming quality.

- No Audio or Poor Audio Quality:
- Check the volume settings in the Mi Home app.
- Ensure there are no obstructions blocking the camera's microphone or speaker.
