5. Setup

  1. Battery Installation: The ET11S PRO comes with a built-in detachable 18650 lithium battery. Ensure it is properly seated in the battery compartment.
  2. Charging: Connect the device to a power source using the provided USB Type-C cable to charge the battery. The charging port is located on the side of the device.
  3. Probe Connection: For multimeter functions, insert the universal probes into the appropriate input jacks on the bottom of the device. The red probe typically connects to the VΩHz jack, and the black probe to the COM jack.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the power key (usually located on the side or front panel) for 3 seconds to turn the device on or off.

6.3 Thermal Imaging Mode

  1. Switching Modes: Use the 'SELECT' or 'R-DMM MENU' button to switch between thermal imaging and multimeter modes.
  2. Temperature Measurement: The device automatically captures the highest temperature point, lowest temperature point, and center point. These are tracked in real-time on the display.
  3. Color Palettes: The ET11S PRO offers 5 color palette modes (Iron Red, Rainbow, Fusion, White Heat, Red Heat) to visualize thermal data. Use the 'RANGE REL' button (short press) to cycle through these options.
  4. Dual Light Fusion: This mode combines visible light images with thermal images. The fusion ratio can be adjusted to suit different inspection needs. Use the 'SELECT' button (long press) to switch dual light fusion ratio.
  5. Over-temperature Alarm: The device features an automatic over-temperature alarm function. You can set the alarm threshold in the settings menu.

6.4 Multimeter Mode

  1. Measurement Functions: The multimeter supports AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, resistance, capacitance, diode, continuity, and duty cycle measurements.
  2. Range Selection: The multimeter has an automatic range measurement switch (default automatic range). Manual range measurement can also be selected.
  3. Data Hold: Use the 'HOLD SAVE' button to retain the current measurement data on the screen.
  4. NCV (Non-Contact Voltage) Detection: Switch to NCV mode for non-contact detection of AC voltage. The device will provide sensitive sensing and buzzing sound prompts.
  5. LIVE Identification: In multimeter mode, switch to LIVE mode to distinguish between neutral and live wires.

6.5 Data Transfer and Analysis

Multimeter readings are incorrect:
Ensure the probes are correctly connected to the appropriate input jacks. Verify that the correct measurement function (e.g., ACV, DCV, Resistance) is selected. Check the probes for damage or poor connection.
Screen is unresponsive or frozen:
Try restarting the device by holding the power button. If the issue persists, allow the battery to fully discharge and then recharge it.
