- Battery Care: Recharge the battery regularly, even if the device is not used frequently, to maintain battery health. Avoid fully discharging the battery for extended periods.
- Probe Inspection: Periodically inspect the multimeter probes for any signs of wear or damage. Replace them if necessary to ensure accurate and safe measurements.
8. Troubleshooting
- Device does not power on:
- Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a power source using the USB Type-C cable and try again. Check if the battery is properly installed.
- Inaccurate temperature readings:
- Check the emissivity setting; adjust it according to the material being measured. Ensure the measuring distance is within the specified range (0.3m~2m). Clean the thermal camera lens if it's obstructed.
- Multimeter readings are incorrect:
- Ensure the probes are correctly connected to the appropriate input jacks. Verify that the correct measurement function (e.g., ACV, DCV, Resistance) is selected. Check the probes for damage or poor connection.
- Screen is unresponsive or frozen:
- Try restarting the device by holding the power button. If the issue persists, allow the battery to fully discharge and then recharge it.
9. User Tips
- For optimal thermal imaging results, especially in varying environments, experiment with different color palettes to find the one that best highlights the temperature differences you are looking for.
- When using the dual light fusion feature, adjust the fusion ratio to balance between visible detail and thermal information, which can be very useful for pinpointing issues.
- Always ensure the multimeter probes are securely connected and the correct function is selected before taking measurements to prevent damage to the device or inaccurate readings.
- Utilize the PC software for detailed analysis of thermal images. This can help in generating reports or tracking temperature changes over time for predictive maintenance.
