3. Setup
3.1 Power Supply
The E1000 PRO label printer offers two power supply options:
- USB Type-C: Connect the included USB Type-C cable to the printer and a power source.
- AAA Batteries: The printer can also be powered by 6 AAA batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment on the back of the device and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
3.2 Installing Label Tape
- Open the tape compartment cover on the back of the printer.
- Insert the label tape cartridge into the compartment, ensuring it clicks into place.
- Close the tape compartment cover securely.
The printer supports label widths of 3.5mm, 6mm, 9mm, and 12mm. It is compatible with Brother P-Touch TZe label tapes and various industrial label types including laminate, cable, heat shrink tube, ribbon, security, PET, and cloth.

- Turn on the printer by pressing the power button.
- Use the QWERTY keyboard to type your desired text.
- Adjust font size, style, and other settings using the menu options (e.g., 'Menu', 'AAA' for font size, 'ABC' for text style).
- Press the 'Print' button (usually indicated by a printer icon) to print the label.
- Use the built-in cutter to cut the label once printed.

4.3 Heat Shrink Tubing Application
For heat shrink tubing labels:
- Print your desired label onto heat shrink tubing tape.
- Slide the printed heat shrink tube over the cable or wire you wish to label.
- Use appropriate heating equipment (e.g., a heat gun) to evenly heat the tubing until it shrinks tightly around the cable.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Printer
To ensure optimal performance and print quality, regularly clean the print head and tape path. Use a soft, lint-free cloth, slightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol, to gently wipe away any dust or adhesive residue. Ensure the printer is turned off and disconnected from power before cleaning.
5.2 Storing Label Tapes
Store label tape cartridges in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to prevent damage and maintain adhesive quality.

6.1 Common Issues and Solutions
- No Power: Ensure batteries are correctly inserted and charged, or that the USB-C cable is securely connected to a power source.
- Poor Print Quality: Clean the print head. Ensure the correct label tape is installed and that it is not damaged or expired.
- Tape Jam: Turn off the printer, open the tape compartment, and carefully remove any jammed tape. Reinsert the tape cartridge correctly.
- "Is there Hebrew language on the device?" The E1000 PRO supports 22 languages, but Hebrew is not listed among them.
- "Are the batteries included? Are they rechargeable?" 6 AAA batteries are required but are not included with the printer. The printer can also be powered via the included USB Type-C cable.
