4. Setup Guide
4.1 Powering the Controller
The DOMRAEM WLED controller offers flexible power options:
- DC 5-24V Input: Connect a compatible DC power supply to the 'INPUT DC5V-24V' terminal. Ensure the voltage matches your LED strip requirements.
- USB-C 5V/5A Input: For 5V LED strips, you can use a USB-C power adapter connected to the 'INPUT USB-C DC5V/5A' port. Do not exceed 5A when using USB-C.
- V+, V- Power Interface: An additional V+, V- power interface is available for direct power connection.

4.2 Wiring LED Strips
The controller features quick connect port design for convenient wiring. Follow these steps:
- Open the connector: Gently open the connector upwards.
- Insert the wire: Insert the stripped wire into the appropriate terminal.
- Press down: Press down on the connector to secure the wire.
Wiring Instructions:
- The group of D for GPIO16 is the default output. Please use this group first.
- The other group of D is GPIO2, which can be used after configuration on the APP.
- Ensure correct polarity: V=VCC, D=DATA, G=GND.

4.3 App Installation
The WLED app is essential for controlling your LED strips. Download it using the following methods:
- iOS: Search for "WLED" or "WLED Native" in the Apple App Store.
- Android: Download from the official GitHub repository: github.com/Aircoookie/WLED-App/releases

4.4 Initial App Configuration (WiFi Setup)
Follow these steps to connect your controller to your WiFi network and the WLED app:
- Step One: Power on the WLED controller. Open the phone settings and connect to the WLED-AP WiFi network (password:
wled1234). - Step Two: After successful connection, it will automatically redirect to the WLED page. If not, open a browser and enter the WLED page. Click on "WIFI SETTINGS".
- Step Three: Click "Scan" to display the account. NOTE: Be sure to choose a 2.4GHz WiFi network, otherwise it will not work.
- Step Four: Enter the password, then click "save" at the top of the screen after entering the password.
- Step Five: Connect your phone and WLED controller to the same WiFi.
- Step Six: Enter the WLED page for configuration.
- Step Seven: Click on "Blank space" to enter the WLED page.
- Step Eight: After successful application, open WLED app.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic App Control (Colors and Effects)
Once connected to the WLED app, you can easily control your LED strips:
- Colors: Use the color wheel to select static colors or choose from predefined color palettes.
- Effects: Browse through over 100 dynamic effects. Adjust speed, intensity, and other parameters for each effect.
- Segments: Divide your LED strip into multiple sections and apply unique colors and effects to each segment independently.

5.2 Music Mode
The built-in sensitive microphone allows the ESP32 WLED controller to follow music dynamic mode. After resetting, the microphone parameters need to be configured for the first time, and the device needs to be restarted.
Configuration Information:
- Microphone type: Generic I2S
- I2S SD pin: 26
- I2S WS pin: 5
- I2S SCK pin: 21

5.3 Voice Assistant Integration (Alexa)
To connect your WLED controller with Alexa, follow these steps:
- Go to the control page of the WLED controller, click on the "Config" button in the top right corner to enter the settings, and then click on "Sync Interfaces".
- Scroll up to find "Alexa Voice Assistant", check the box next to "Emulate Alexa device", and then save.
- After successfully saving, power cycle the WLED controller once by turning it off and on.
- Open "Amazon Alexa" app, click on the "Devices" page at the top right corner on the "+" Sign, and then click "Add Device".
- Then, scroll up and click on "Other" to enter, select "Wi-Fi", and then click "Discover Devices" to search for lights.

5.4 Button Functions
The controller has two buttons: Reset and Opt.
- Reset Button: Pressing this button will put the controller module in a powered-off state, making the WLED controller unusable. Releasing the button will power the module back on, then you can use WLED controller normally. This button is useful for powering the controller on and off when it's inconvenient.
- Opt Button:
- Short press: Power on/off.
- Long press for 1 second: Switch colors.
- Long press for more than 10 seconds: The WLED device will be reset to factory settings and the WLED-AP hotspot will be activated. Do not use unless it is an emergency! If the factory settings have been restored, please refer to the instruction manual to configure the device correctly.

5.5 Relay Configuration
The controller supports relay configuration. When the power is turned off, there is no current passing through the LED strip, thus reducing power consumption. This can be configured within the WLED app settings.
