3.2. Audio Connections
The BOMGE F7 mixer is compatible with various audio devices. Refer to the diagrams below for proper connection methods.

Input Connections:
- MIC Input Jacks (1): Balanced XLR-type microphone input jacks (1:Ground; 2:Hot; 3:Cold). Connect wired microphones here.
- LINE Input Jacks (2): Balanced TRS phone-jack line inputs (T:Hot; R:Cold; S:Ground). Connect balanced or unbalanced phone plugs.
- LINE Input Jacks (3): Unbalanced phone-jack stereo line inputs.
- INSERT Jacks (4): These TRS (tip, ring, sleeve) phone jacks provide an insert point between the equalizer and fader. Use for connecting external processors like graphic equalizers, compressors, or noise filters. (Tip = send/out; Ring = return/in; Sleeve = ground).
- PHANTOM +48V Switch (16): Activates +48V phantom power for XLR mic input jacks. Turn this on when using condenser microphones.

Output Connections:
- MAIN OUT Jacks (25): Deliver the mixer's stereo output. Connect to power amplifiers driving main speakers or recording devices.
- SEND Jacks (22):
- MON: Impedance balanced phone-jack type output for monitoring systems, effect units, or cue boxes.
- FX: Impedance balanced phone-jack type output for external effect units.
- PHONES Jack (23): Connect a pair of headphones to this stereo phone jack.
- TAPE OUT Jacks (24): RCA pin jacks for connecting to an external recorder (e.g., MD recorder) to record the MAIN OUT signal.
Audio Connection Diagrams:

6. Troubleshooting
This section provides solutions to common issues. If you encounter a problem not listed here, or if the issue persists, please contact qualified service personnel.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No power | Power adapter not connected or faulty. Power switch off. | Ensure power adapter is securely connected and plugged into a working outlet. Turn the POWER switch (26) ON. Check if the POWER Indicator (17) lights up. |
| No sound output | Incorrect connections. Faders/controls set too low. Mute engaged. | Verify all audio cables are correctly connected to inputs and outputs. Check GAIN controls (5), Channel Faders (11), and MAIN OUT Master Fader (20) are at appropriate levels. Ensure no channels or main output are muted. |
| Distorted sound | Input signal too high (clipping). Incorrect EQ settings. | Reduce GAIN (5) until the PEAK Indicator (9) only flashes occasionally. Adjust EQ settings (6) to a neutral position (0) and then fine-tune. |
| Phantom power not working | PHANTOM +48V switch (16) is off. | Ensure the PHANTOM +48V switch (16) is in the ON position when using condenser microphones. |
| USB MP3 player not working | USB disk not inserted correctly or incompatible format. | Ensure the USB disk is fully inserted into the USB JACK (21). Check if the audio files on the USB disk are in a supported format. |
