4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Trigger Modes (Linear / Micro-motion)
The GP100 features Hall double-cut triggers, allowing you to switch between linear (analog) and micro-motion (digital) modes. This is ideal for different game types, such as racing games benefiting from linear triggers and shooting games from micro-motion triggers.

Figure 5: Hall double-cut trigger mechanism.
Refer to the controller's specific button combinations or software (if available) for switching between these modes. Typically, a small switch or button near the trigger allows for this change.
4.2 D-pad Functionality
The seven-layer eight-way D-pad is designed for precise directional input, eliminating accidental diagonal presses. It uses gaming-grade mechanical switches for clear and sensitive feedback.

4.7 AB/XY Key-Value Swapping
The controller supports AB/XY key-value swapping, allowing you to switch between different button layouts (e.g., Xbox and Switch layouts) to match your preference or game requirements. This feature is often managed via a dedicated button combination or software.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
- Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface of the controller.
- For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Do not allow liquids to enter the controller's openings.
5.2 Battery Care
The controller is equipped with an 800mAh rechargeable battery.

Figure 11: Embedded 800mAh battery.
- Charge the controller using the provided USB-C cable.
- Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently to prolong its lifespan.
- If storing the controller for an extended period, charge it to about 50% to prevent battery degradation.
5.3 Storage
Store the controller in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Protect it from dust and physical impact.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Connection Issues
- Controller not connecting: Ensure the mode switch is in the correct position (2.4G, Wired, or BT). For 2.4G, ensure the receiver is properly plugged in. For Bluetooth, ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and the controller is in pairing mode.
- Intermittent connection: Check for interference from other wireless devices. Ensure the controller is within range of the receiver or Bluetooth device.
6.2 Input Lag / Unresponsiveness
- Lag in wireless modes: Ensure the controller is fully charged. For 2.4G, try moving closer to the receiver. For Bluetooth, ensure there are no obstacles between the controller and the device.
- General unresponsiveness: Try restarting the controller and the connected device. Ensure the controller's firmware is up to date (if applicable).

Figure 12: 1000Hz polling rate comparison.
6.3 Buttons / Joysticks Not Working Correctly
- Sticky or unresponsive buttons: Clean around the buttons. If the issue persists, it may indicate a hardware problem.
- Joystick drift: The Hall effect joysticks are designed to prevent drift. If you experience drift, try recalibrating the controller through your device's settings or the controller's software.
