1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the JMGO O2 Ultra 4K Native Projector. This ultra-short throw smart home video projector delivers stunning 4K resolution with 4500 ANSI Lumens brightness, powered by a triple RGB laser light source. It features full auto-correction, WiFi 6 connectivity, and a powerful MT9679 chip with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM for a seamless home theater experience.

Important Reminder: This product is the Chinese version and supports Chinese language only. To switch to other languages, please consider using an international TV box.

2. Safety Information

  • Do not look directly into the projector lens when the lamp is on. The intense light can cause eye damage.
  • Ensure proper ventilation around the projector. Do not block ventilation openings.
  • Place the projector on a stable, level surface to prevent it from falling.
  • Keep the projector away from water, moisture, and extreme temperatures.

4. Product Overview

The JMGO O2 Ultra features a sleek, compact design with integrated Dynaudio speakers. Its ultra-short throw lens is positioned at the front, allowing for projection from a very short distance.

4.1. Interfaces

The projector is equipped with various ports for connectivity:

  • HDMI 2.1 x2: One port supports eARC for enhanced audio return channel.

5. Setup

5.1. Placement

The JMGO O2 Ultra is an ultra-short throw projector, designed to project a large image from a very short distance. For optimal viewing, place the projector on a flat surface, such as a TV cabinet, close to the projection screen or wall.

  • Throw Ratio: 0.18:1. This means it can project a 100-inch image from only 16.8 cm away from the screen.
  • Recommended Distance: Suitable for placement 45-65 cm from a TV cabinet.
  • Projection Ability: 60-150 inches (best is 100-150 inches).

5.2. Power Connection

  1. Connect the power adapter to the DC In port on the projector.
  2. Plug the power cable into the power adapter, then into a wall outlet.

5.3. Initial Power-On and Basic Settings

  1. Press the power button on the projector or the remote control to turn it on.
  2. The projector will automatically perform focus and keystone correction.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions for initial setup. Note that the default operating language is Chinese.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Remote Control

Use the provided Bluetooth remote control (BT RC) to navigate the projector's interface, adjust settings, and control media playback.

6.2. Connecting External Devices

  • HDMI: Connect Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, or other HDMI-enabled devices to the HDMI 2.1 ports. One port supports eARC for high-quality audio passthrough to compatible sound systems.
  • USB: Use the USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 ports to connect external storage devices (USB drives, external hard drives) for media playback.

6.3. Network Connectivity

The projector supports WiFi 6 for fast and stable wireless internet connection. Navigate to the network settings to connect to your home WiFi network.

7. Maintenance

7.1. Cleaning the Lens

Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses to gently wipe the projector lens. Do not use abrasive cleaners or excessive force.

7.2. Cleaning the Projector Body

Wipe the exterior of the projector with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water, then wipe dry immediately.

7.3. Ventilation

Regularly check that the ventilation openings are clear of dust and debris to ensure proper airflow and prevent overheating.

8. Troubleshooting

  • No Image: Ensure the projector is powered on and connected correctly to a power source. Check the input source selection.
  • Blurry Image: The projector features auto-focus. If the image remains blurry, try repositioning the projector slightly or manually adjusting focus if available in settings.
  • No Sound: Verify that the volume is not muted on the projector or the connected source. Check audio output settings on the projector and external devices. If using eARC, ensure your sound system is properly configured.
  • Remote Control Not Responding: Check the remote control batteries. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the projector.
  • Overheating Warning: Ensure the projector's ventilation ports are not blocked and that it is placed in a well-ventilated area.
