This portable device combines a powerful Bluetooth speaker with an FM radio, MP3 player, and recording capabilities, making it ideal for various outdoor and indoor activities. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper use and to maximize your enjoyment of the product.

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the SANSUI F31 speaker. Connect the provided TYPE-C charging cable to the DC 5V port on the speaker and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (DC5V/1A-3A, not included). The LED screen will indicate charging status. A full charge typically provides 3-4 hours of playback time.

5.2 Power On/Off

To power on the speaker, press and hold the power button (usually marked with a power symbol) until the LED screen lights up. To power off, press and hold the power button again until the screen turns off.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Mode Selection

The SANSUI F31 supports multiple playback modes. Use the 'M' button (Mode button) to cycle through available modes: Bluetooth, FM Radio, TF Card, USB Drive, and AUX.

6.2 Bluetooth Mode

  1. Power on the speaker and switch to Bluetooth mode (indicated by 'BLUE' on the LED screen).
  2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select 'SANSUI F31' from the list to pair. A confirmation sound will indicate successful pairing.
  4. You can now play audio from your device through the speaker.

6.3 FM Radio Mode

  1. Switch to FM Radio mode using the 'M' button.
  2. Press and hold the Play/Pause button to initiate an automatic scan for FM stations. The speaker will save all found stations.
  3. Use the Previous/Next track buttons to navigate through the saved stations.
  4. The LED screen will display the current frequency.

6.4 TF Card / USB Drive Playback

  1. Insert a TF card into the TF card slot or a USB flash drive into the USB port.
  2. The speaker will automatically switch to the corresponding playback mode (TF or USB). If not, use the 'M' button to select it.
  3. Use the number buttons on the control panel for digital music selection or song ordering.
  4. Press the Play/Pause button to start or pause playback. Use Previous/Next track buttons to change songs.

6.5 Recording Function

The SANSUI F31 supports one-key recording. This function is available in USB drive/TF card music playback mode.

  1. Ensure a TF card or USB drive is inserted.
  2. Long press the 'Record' button (often marked with a microphone icon) to start recording.
  3. To stop recording, press the 'Record' button again.
  4. To delete a recording, long press the 'Delete' button.

6.6 Hands-free Calling

When connected via Bluetooth to a smartphone, the SANSUI F31 can be used for hands-free calls thanks to its built-in high-definition microphone.

  1. When a call comes in, press the Play/Pause button (often also the call answer/end button) to answer.
  2. To end a call, press the Play/Pause button again.
  3. To reject a call, long press the Play/Pause button.

6.7 Headphone Mode

Connect standard 3.5mm headphones to the AUX port for private listening. The speaker's output will automatically switch to the headphones.

6.8 Sound Quality and Features

The SANSUI F31 is equipped with dual 40MM internal magnetic speakers and bass passive enhancement units for a rich and realistic music experience.

The speaker also features a switchable magic colored light at the back, adding a visual element to your audio experience.

7. Maintenance

  • Keep the speaker dry. Avoid exposure to water or excessive moisture.
  • Clean the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Avoid extreme temperatures. Do not expose the speaker to direct sunlight for prolonged periods or store it in very cold environments.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the speaker yourself. This will void the warranty and may cause damage.
  • Store the speaker in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.

8. Troubleshooting

8.1 No Power

  • Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the speaker to a power source using the TYPE-C cable.
  • Check if the power button is pressed and held long enough to turn on the device.

8.2 Cannot Pair Bluetooth

  • Make sure the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode (LED screen shows 'BLUE').
  • Ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and within the 10-20m range.
  • Forget previous pairings on your device and try pairing again.
  • Restart both the speaker and your Bluetooth device.

8.3 Poor FM Reception

  • Extend the antenna fully.
  • Move the speaker to a location with better signal reception, away from electronic interference.
  • Perform an automatic station scan again.

8.4 TF Card/USB Drive Not Playing

  • Ensure the TF card or USB drive is inserted correctly.
  • Check if the audio files are in a compatible format (e.g., MP3).
  • Verify that the speaker is in the correct playback mode (TF or USB).
  • Try a different TF card or USB drive to rule out media issues.

9. User Tips

  • For optimal sound quality, especially bass, place the speaker on a solid surface.
  • Utilize the hanging rope for easy portability during outdoor activities.
  • When recording, ensure there is sufficient storage space on your TF card or USB drive.
  • Keep the speaker charged regularly to ensure it's ready for use whenever you need it.
  • Experiment with different locations for FM radio to find the best signal.
