Setup
Antenna Selection
The BJ8200 is compatible with SMA-Male interface antennas. Proper antenna selection is crucial for enhancing the performance of received signals, especially when operating outside the standard frequency range.

Charging Instructions
The BJ8200 supports multiple convenient charging methods:
- Dock Charging (Optional): Insert the battery pack or the radio with the battery pack into the charging dock. Ensure proper contact with the charging terminals of the dock.
- Type-C Charging: Connect the provided charging cable to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an AC power outlet. Insert the charging cable into the Type-C interface of the main unit's battery.
When charging, the red indicator light signifies charging in progress. The green indicator light indicates charging is complete.

Operating Instructions
Basic Operations
- Main Frequency Selection: On the standby screen, press the EXIT key to select the main frequency. A blue-highlighted frequency is the main frequency.
- PTT Function: Press the PTT key to transmit on the frequency of the active segment (A or B).
- Channel Mode / Frequency Mode Switching: This function allows you to switch between channel mode and frequency mode.
- PF2, PF3 Side Key Functions: These keys can be configured via programming software for various functions such as radio reception, power switching, monitoring, scanning, frequency scanning, flashlight, or SOS.
- Keypad Lock / Unlock: On the standby screen, long press the # key to lock or unlock the keypad.
- Dual Watch Function: Enable via Menu → 07 → Dual Watch. This allows monitoring both main and secondary frequencies without switching.
- Voice Control Function: Enable via Menu → 04 → Voice Control Settings. This allows the device to transmit automatically when the microphone detects sufficient sound. The voice control level and delay time can be set in the menu.
- FM Radio: Assign a side key to the radio function. The radio supports 65-76/76-108 MHz. Use the MENU key to switch bands and the numeric keypad to set frequencies. Short press # for auto search.
- Frequency Scanning Function: Assign a side key to frequency scanning. It detects transmitter carrier frequency and sub-audio information. Press MENU to save scanned frequencies. Supports 136-174/400-520 MHz bands.
- SOS Function: Assign a side key to the Alarm key. Menu → 45 → Alarm Settings. Supports local alarm, transmit alarm tone, and transmit alarm code.
- Emergency Flashlight & Strobe Light (Standard Version Only): Assign a side key to the Flashlight key to turn on/switch between different lighting modes/turn off.

Maintenance
Daily Maintenance
- Do not pierce or scratch the product with hard objects.
- Do not store the product in environments containing chemical corrosive substances.
- Do not carry or use the product by pulling the earphone cable.
- When not using the earphone jack, cover the interface with the protective cap.
Cleaning Procedure
