8. Maintenance
- Cleaning the Probe: The probe is IP68 waterproof and oilproof. After use, gently wipe the lens and probe with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn residue, a mild cleaning solution can be used, ensuring no liquid enters the main unit.
- Cleaning the Main Unit: Wipe the screen and main unit with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
- Storage: Store the endoscope in its protective case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
9. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the device is fully charged. If the battery is low, connect it to a power source using the USB cable.
- No Image on Screen: Check if the probe is securely connected to the main unit. Ensure the device is powered on.
- Poor Image Quality: Clean the probe lens. Adjust the LED brightness. Ensure the probe is within the optimal depth of field (2-10cm).
- Lens Not Rotating: Check for any obstructions around the rotating mechanism. Ensure the rotating wheel is being operated correctly.
- Device Shuts Off Automatically: This may indicate the probe has reached its temperature limit (>90°C). Allow the device to cool down before resuming operation.
- Cannot Save Photos/Videos: Ensure a TF card is inserted correctly and has sufficient free space.
10. User Tips
- For optimal clarity, always ensure the probe lens is clean before inspection.
- Experiment with different LED brightness levels to find the best illumination for your specific inspection environment.
- When inspecting very narrow or complex areas, gently guide the probe to avoid damage to the probe or the inspection area.
