4. Installation

4.1 Pre-Installation Check

4.2 Wiring Diagram

• Radio Antenna: Connect the vehicle's radio antenna to the designated port.

4.3 Rear Camera Connection

1. Connect the red cable (①) of the camera to the backup light's positive (+) terminal.
2. Connect the black cable (②) of the camera to the backup light's negative (-) terminal.
3. Connect the brown reversing detection cable (④) from the car radio's harness to the red cable (③) extending from the video input cable.
4. The fifth cable (⑤) does not require connection.

4.4 Physical Installation

The unit is designed for a specific vehicle fitment. Ensure the correct frame is used.

• Secure the car radio unit using the four fixing holes.
• The frame provides three groups of holes for adjusting the installation depth to achieve optimal fitment.

5.5 Steering Wheel Control

Control various functions directly from your vehicle's steering wheel for convenience and safety.

To set up steering wheel controls:

1. Go to "Settings" -> "Car Settings" -> "Steering Wheel".
2. Click "Clear All" first.
3. Then, click on the desired icon (e.g., Volume Up). When it flashes, long-press the corresponding button on your steering wheel to match the icon.
4. Once successfully learned, the icon will change color.
5. If your order includes a Canbus module, ensure the Canbus type is correctly selected in the settings for the buttons to function.

5.6 Day and Night Mode

The radio automatically adjusts its screen brightness between day and night modes based on your car's headlights, ensuring optimal visibility and reducing eye strain.

A: The operating system and pre-installed applications consume a portion of the internal memory. For example, installing a Russia map may take about 3GB, and a Europe map about 7GB.

7.2 Connectivity Issues

Q: Steering wheel controls are not working.

A: Ensure you have followed the setup instructions in Section 5.5. If your unit came with a Canbus module, verify that the correct Canbus type is selected in the car settings. If issues persist, double-check the wiring and settings, or consult customer service.
