3. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your 5G Home Modem ZR01 UDX710.

3.1. SIM Card Insertion

  2. Insert a NANO SIM card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the SIM card is correctly oriented.
  3. The device will automatically detect the SIM card and attempt to connect to the 5G/4G network.

3.2. Power Connection

  1. Connect the provided power adapter to the DC12V Power Supply Interface (labeled as 8 in Figure 2) on the back of the device.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a suitable electrical outlet.
  3. The Power LED indicator (labeled as 3 in Figure 2) will light up blue, indicating the device is powered on.

3.3. Initial Network Connection

Once powered on and with a valid SIM card inserted, the device will automatically establish a 5G/4G connection. The 5G or 4G indicator will turn blue when a stable connection is achieved.

3.3.1. Wi-Fi Connection

To connect devices via Wi-Fi:

  1. Locate the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password, usually found on a label on the bottom or back of the device.
  2. On your Wi-Fi-enabled device (smartphone, laptop, etc.), search for available Wi-Fi networks.
  3. Select the SSID corresponding to your ZR01 UDX710 and enter the password.
  4. The Wi-Fi indicator (labeled as 2 in Figure 2) will turn blue when devices are connected.

3.3.2. Wired Connection

To connect devices via Ethernet:

  1. Connect one end of an RJ45 Ethernet cable to the 1G WLAN Port (labeled as 7 in Figure 2) on the back of the device.
  2. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on your computer or other network device.
  3. The device will automatically provide internet access through the wired connection.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No Power: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to the device and a working power outlet. Check if the Power LED is lit.
  • No 5G/4G Signal: Verify that the SIM card is correctly inserted and active. Check the 5G/4G signal indicators; if orange, try relocating the device to an area with better signal reception. Ensure your SIM card plan supports 5G/4G data.
