Problem Possible Cause Solution
Opener does not respond to remote control. Dead remote battery, remote out of range, interference, or remote not programmed. Replace remote battery, move closer to the opener, check for interference, or reprogram the remote.
Door does not open or close completely. Limit settings incorrect, obstruction in the door's path, or door balance issues. Adjust limit settings, remove obstructions, or check garage door balance.
Door reverses unexpectedly. Safety sensors misaligned or obstructed, or excessive closing force. Check and align safety sensors, clear obstructions, or adjust closing force.
Unusual noise during operation. Loose hardware, worn parts, or lack of lubrication. Tighten all hardware, inspect for worn parts, or lubricate moving components of the door.
