4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly install your ink cartridge:

  1. Ensure your TIJ coding machine is turned off before handling the ink cartridge.
  2. Carefully remove the old ink cartridge, if applicable.
  3. Unpack the new EURANNIT ink cartridge.
  4. When installing the ink cartridge, ensure it is placed in the correct position within the printer. The nozzles of the ink cartridge must be parallel to the print head for optimal alignment and printing.
  5. Secure the cartridge in place according to your printer's specific instructions.
  6. If the cartridge has a transparent buckle for nozzle protection, ensure it is properly opened before use and closed when not in use for more than 15 minutes.
Transparent buckle protects ink cartridges, with instructions on opening/closing.

5. Operation

To ensure the best printing results and longevity of your ink cartridge, follow these operational guidelines:

Step-by-step instructions for cartridge usage: shaking, covering, and cleaning.
Figure 5.1: Cartridge Usage Steps
  1. Before Use: Shake the cartridge up and down vigorously with the protective cover still on. This helps to ensure the ink is well-mixed and ready for printing.
  2. After Every Use: Always replace the protective cover on the nozzle immediately after printing. This prevents the ink from drying out and extends the cartridge's lifespan.
  3. Regular Cleaning: For clear and consistent printing, clean the nozzle with alcohol every time before use.

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance is crucial for the performance and lifespan of your EURANNIT ink cartridges:

  • Storage: Store the ink cartridge in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • Protective Cap: Always keep the protective cap on the nozzle when the cartridge is not installed in the printer or not actively printing. This prevents the ink from drying out.
  • Nozzle Protection Buckle: If your cartridge has a transparent buckle, ensure it is closed to protect the nozzle if the cartridge will not be used within 15 minutes. This helps prevent damage and extends service life.
  • Cleaning: If prints appear incomplete or unclear, gently clean the nozzle with a tissue or cotton swab soaked with alcohol. Wipe in one direction only.

Important Warning: Do Not Remove Metal Sticker

Do not remove the metal sticker located on the bottom of the ink cartridge. Removing this sticker will cause irreversible damage to the ink cartridge and void any potential warranty.
