To use the endoscope, you need to install a compatible application on your device.

    • Connect the Type-C end of the endoscope cable directly to your smartphone's Type-C port.
    • If your phone has a standard USB port, use the provided Type-C to USB adapter, then connect the USB end to your phone (ensure OTG is enabled in your phone settings if necessary).
    • Launch the installed endoscope APP. The app should automatically detect the camera.
  2. For Windows PCs:
    • Connect the Type-C endoscope cable to the Type-C to USB adapter.
    • Plug the USB adapter into an available USB port on your PC.
    • Open your chosen camera application. Select the endoscope camera from the list of available video devices.

All captured photos and videos will be saved directly to your connected Android phone or PC.

6.3 Using Attachments

The endoscope comes with three practical attachments:

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Lens: After use, especially in dirty or wet environments, gently wipe the camera lens with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by drying.
  • Storage: Store the endoscope in a clean, dry place away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. Coil the cable loosely to prevent damage.
  • Water Exposure: While the lens is IP67 waterproof, avoid prolonged submersion or exposing the USB/Type-C connectors to water. Ensure connectors are dry before plugging into any device.
  • Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents on any part of the endoscope.

8. Troubleshooting

  • No Image on Android Phone:
    • Ensure your phone supports OTG and UVC functions.
    • Check if OTG is enabled in your phone's settings (some phones require manual activation).
    • Verify the endoscope is securely connected.
    • Try a different compatible APP (e.g., "inskam").
    • Restart your phone and the APP.
  • No Image on PC:
    • Ensure the USB adapter is correctly connected to both the endoscope and the PC.
    • Try a different USB port on your PC.
    • Check your camera application settings to ensure the endoscope is selected as the video input device.
    • Update your PC's USB drivers if necessary.
  • Poor Image Quality:
    • Adjust the LED brightness using the turning wheel on the control module.
    • Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from debris.
    • Maintain the optimal focal distance of 3cm-8cm from the object.
  • Endoscope Not Recognized:
    • Ensure the device is fully powered on (for phones, sufficient battery).
    • Try connecting to a different compatible device to rule out device-specific issues.

9. User Tips

  • For best results, ensure the area you are inspecting is adequately lit by adjusting the endoscope's LEDs.
  • Practice navigating the flexible cable in an open area before attempting complex inspections.
  • When using the side mirror, remember that the image will be reversed or mirrored, which may require some adjustment in perception.
  • Always save important inspection footage or photos immediately to avoid accidental loss.
  • If experiencing connectivity issues with an Android phone, try enabling 'Developer Options' and 'USB Debugging' in your phone's settings, though this is rarely required.
