7. Troubleshooting

  • Device not pairing with original remote: Ensure the Smart RF Bridge is placed as close as possible to the original remote during the copying process. Verify that the original remote is functioning correctly. Double-check the button press sequence for clearing and copying codes.
  • LED not blinking as expected during setup: Refer to the "Clear Replicator History Code" and "User Guide (App Pairing)" sections. Ensure you are holding the correct buttons for the specified duration.
  • App connection issues: Confirm your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network, not 5GHz. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. Verify the WiFi password is correct. If the device was previously paired, try resetting it by holding the Reset button for 10 seconds until the network indicator blinks fast.
  • Programming button 1 not activating: If you encounter issues with a specific button not programming (e.g., Hormann HS4 button 1), ensure you are following the exact steps for clearing and copying codes. Sometimes, a factory reset of the Smart RF Bridge followed by a fresh programming attempt can resolve this.
