3. Setup

3.1 Mounting the Bike Computer

The Bikevee BKV-100 is designed for easy installation on your bicycle handlebars or stem.

  1. Place the mount horizontally on your handlebar or stem.
  2. Attach the bike computer onto the stand.
  3. Turn the bike computer clockwise by 90° until it locks securely into place.

3.2 Initial Power On and Basic Settings

To power on the device, press the side button. To power off, long press the side button for two seconds.

You can configure language, speed unit, and time zone settings:

  1. Long press the right button to enter the settings page.
  2. Click the left button to turn the page and find the desired setting (e.g., Language, Units, Time Zone).
  3. Click the right button to change the current setting.
  4. Long press the right button to exit the settings menu.

4.1 GPS Positioning

4.2 Data Recording

On the riding page:

  • Click the left button to start recording ride data (Screen displays ▶).
  • Click the left button again to pause the ride data (Screen displays ⏸).
  • Long press the left button for two seconds to stop recording ride data (The ⏸ icons on the screen will be flashing).
  • Click the right button to navigate to the next page of data display.
  • Long press the right button to enter the settings page.

4.3 App Connection and Data Sync

The Bikevee BKV-100 can connect to the 'Link-S' app via Bluetooth for data management and synchronization with Strava.

  1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
  2. Open the 'Link-S' app.
  3. On the bike computer, long press the left button until the pause icon (⏸) starts to flash, indicating it's ready for data import.
  4. In the app, click on the device and then on "Connected".
  5. Click on "Code table cycling record" to view your cycling data.
  6. Select the cycling data you need and click the download icon to import it.

You can automatically upload your ride data to Strava, share your ride data in image form on social media, and also share GPX files, allowing you to create stunning videos with your action camera.

The BKV-100 has an IPX7 waterproof rating, meaning it can withstand heavy rain, snow, and accidental submersion up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. We have carried out waterproof treatment on the screen, buttons, and Type-C charging port. However, it is not recommended to immerse the device in water for extended periods.

5.2 Charging

The device features a 1200mAh/3.7V rechargeable battery, providing up to 28 hours of battery life. Charging takes approximately 2.5 hours via the Type-C port.

  • Device not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to the charging cable and try again.
  • GPS signal not acquired: Ensure you are in an open area with a clear view of the sky. The first GPS fix may take longer.
  • Sensor not connecting: Make sure the sensor is turned on and within range. Re-enter the ANT+ Sensor page on the bike computer to re-scan.
  • Data not syncing to app: Check your phone's Bluetooth connection and ensure the 'Link-S' app is open and connected to the device. Follow the data import steps carefully.
  • Screen unreadable in sunlight: The FSTN segment display is designed for sunlight readability. Adjust your viewing angle if necessary.
