4. Setup and Connection

The FREEWOLF A7 mouse supports three connection modes: 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth, and wired USB-C.

4.1. 2.4GHz Wireless Mode

  1. Remove the 2.4GHz USB receiver from its storage slot on the bottom of the mouse.
  2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Toggle the switch on the bottom of the mouse to the '2.4G' position.
  4. The mouse should automatically connect to your computer. The smart digital display will show '2.4G' and the current DPI.

4.2. Bluetooth Mode

  1. Toggle the switch on the bottom of the mouse to the 'BT' position.
  2. Press and hold the 'Pair' button on the bottom of the mouse for 3 seconds until the smart digital display shows 'BT' and starts blinking, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your computer or device, go to Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.
  4. Select 'FREEWOLF A7' from the list of available devices to pair.
  5. Once connected, the smart digital display will show 'BT' steadily.

4.3. Wired Mode

  1. Connect one end of the provided USB-C cable to the Type-C port on the front of the mouse.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB-A cable to an available USB port on your computer.
  3. The mouse will automatically switch to wired mode and begin charging.

4.4. Charging

The FREEWOLF A7 mouse can be charged via the USB-C cable or the RGB Magnetic Charging Dock.

  • Using the Charging Dock: Place the mouse onto the RGB Magnetic Charging Dock. The magnetic connection will secure the mouse and initiate charging. The RGB lighting on the dock provides visual feedback.
  • Using USB-C Cable: Connect the USB-C cable directly to the mouse and a power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).

The smart digital display will show the battery status during charging and operation.

5. Operation

5.1. DPI Adjustment

The mouse features a dedicated DPI button to cycle through 6 adjustable DPI levels, ranging from 800 to 24,000 DPI. Press the DPI button to change sensitivity. The current DPI setting will be displayed on the smart digital display.

5.2. Smart Digital Display

The integrated smart digital display provides real-time information at a glance, including:

  • Connection Mode: Indicates whether the mouse is in 2.4G wireless or Bluetooth mode.

5.4. Polling Rate

The mouse supports a 1000Hz polling rate in both wired and wireless modes, ensuring millisecond response times for competitive gaming.

6. Maintenance
