8. Troubleshooting
- Drone does not respond or take off:
- Ensure both the drone and remote control are powered on and fully charged. Check if the drone is properly calibrated. Re-pair the remote control if necessary.
- Unstable flight or drifting:
- Perform a gyroscope calibration. Check for damaged propellers and replace if needed. Ensure you are flying in calm conditions, as strong winds can affect stability.
- No FPV feed on mobile phone:
- Verify that your mobile phone is connected to the drone's Wi-Fi network. Ensure the drone app is open and has the necessary permissions. Restart both the drone and the app.
- Poor camera quality or blurry images:
- Clean the camera lens. Ensure sufficient lighting conditions. Check if the camera angle is correctly adjusted.
- Obstacle avoidance not working:
- Ensure the obstacle avoidance mode is activated. Fly in areas with clear, detectable obstacles for the sensors to function effectively.
9. User Tips
- Photography and Videography: The D18 Drone supports both photography and video recording. Use the dedicated buttons on the remote or the app to switch between modes and capture your aerial content.
- Practice Makes Perfect: For beginners, start flying in a large, open area with minimal obstacles. Practice basic maneuvers like hovering, ascending, and descending before attempting more advanced features.
- Battery Management: Always carry extra charged batteries for longer flight sessions. Allow batteries to cool down before recharging.
