- Ensure your LUCKY FF916 Fish Finder is fully charged before first use. The red charging indicator light will turn off when fully charged.
- Download the correct mobile application: Search for "WIFI Fish Finder" in your device's app store. Ensure you download the correct app, as shown in Figure 5.

4.2 Connecting to Your Smartphone
Follow these steps to connect your FF916 Fish Finder to your mobile device:
- Place the Sonar Transmitter: Gently place the sonar transmitter (fish finder unit) into the water. Ensure the metal probe on the bottom of the unit is in contact with the water. The sonar will only activate when submerged.
- Power On the WiFi Box: Press and hold the power button on the WiFi box for 3 seconds to turn it on. Wait for the orange indicator light on the right side of the WiFi box to flash continuously. This indicates that the sonar probe and WiFi box are connected.
- Connect via WiFi:
- Go to your smartphone's Wi-Fi settings.
- Locate and select the Wi-Fi network named "FishFinder".
- Enter the default password:
12345678. - Once connected, open the "WIFI Fish Finder" application.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 App Interface and Data Display
Once connected and the app is open, you will see a clear display of sonar data. The app provides real-time information to help you locate fish and understand the underwater environment.

- Connection Issues:
- Make sure the WiFi box is powered on and its orange indicator light is flashing.
- Verify that mobile data is turned OFF on your smartphone.
- For iOS devices, turn OFF 'Wi-Fi Assist'.
- For Android devices, turn OFF 'Smart Network Switch', 'Auto Network switch', or 'Wi-Fi+'.
- Ensure you are connected to the correct Wi-Fi network named "FishFinder" with the password
12345678. - Keep the "WIFI Fish Finder" app updated to the latest version.
- Short Battery Life:
- Ensure the device is fully charged before use (5 hours for a full charge).
