4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Connecting to your Car Stereo

The ATOTO CG2M1C offers two primary methods for connecting to your ATOTO P9 car stereo:

  1. Direct Connection: Connect your ATOTO P9 car stereo directly to the CG2M1C's power supply port using the provided 9-pin round to Type-C cable.
  2. Via SmartCup (Optional): If you use an ATOTO SmartCup, connect the P9 to the SmartCup with a 9-pin to Type-C cable, then connect the SmartCup to the CG2M1C's power supply port.

4.2 Powering the Device

Insert the ATOTO CG2M1C into your vehicle's 12V or 24V cigarette lighter socket. Ensure it is firmly seated. The device is compatible with a wide range of vehicles.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Manual Power Control

The ATOTO CG2M1C features an integrated ON/OFF switch. This allows you to manually control the power supply to connected devices, preventing battery drain when your vehicle is off and locked. Simply toggle the switch to turn the power on or off.

5.2 Fast Charging (PD3.0 20W)

Connect your PD3.0 compatible devices (e.g., iPhone 16, Samsung Galaxy S23) to the 20W PD3.0 charging port using an appropriate data cable for rapid charging. This feature supports fast charging even when CarPlay or Android Auto is active on your car stereo.

Note: For optimal fast charging performance, please use the original data cable provided with your device or a certified high-quality data cable.

5.3 AUX Audio Out

Utilize the AUX OUT port to connect to external audio systems or devices as needed. Refer to your car stereo's manual for specific AUX input connection details.

6. Maintenance

  • Keep the device clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
  • Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or moisture.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself, as this will void the warranty.
  • Ensure the cigarette lighter socket in your vehicle is clean and free of obstructions for proper connection.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No Power: Ensure the CG2M1C is fully inserted into the cigarette lighter socket. Check your vehicle's fuse for the cigarette lighter socket. Verify the ON/OFF switch on the CG2M1C is in the 'ON' position.
  • Slow Charging: Ensure you are using a PD3.0 compatible cable and device. Some devices may have specific charging requirements.
  • No Audio Output: Check all AUX cable connections. Ensure the correct audio input source is selected on your car stereo.
  • Device Overheating: Disconnect the device immediately. Ensure proper ventilation around the unit. If overheating persists, contact support.
