1. Product Overview
This 7-inch Android Car Radio Multimedia Player is designed to upgrade the in-car entertainment and navigation system for Skoda Yeti models from 2009 to 2015. It integrates modern features such as Wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, GPS navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, FM/RDS radio, and multimedia playback capabilities, all powered by an Android operating system.

1.1 Compatibility
This head unit is compatible with Skoda Yeti models manufactured between 2009 and 2015. It is also compatible with various Volkswagen and SEAT models. Please refer to the compatibility chart below to ensure it fits your vehicle's dashboard configuration.

1.2 Package Contents
Before installation, please verify that all components are present in the package:
- Main Head Unit (7-inch display)
- Camera cable
- User Manual (this document)
- 6P USB and Reverse Line cable
- GPS Antenna
- VW Big Head power cable
- VW Small Head power cable
- RCA AV cable and POWER*1
- Backup Camera (if included in your specific package)

2. Setup and Installation
Professional installation is highly recommended. Ensure the vehicle's battery is disconnected before beginning installation to prevent electrical damage.
2.1 Removing the Original Radio
Carefully remove the existing factory radio from your Skoda Yeti dashboard. This typically involves prying off trim panels and unscrewing the old unit. Refer to your vehicle's specific service manual for detailed instructions on removing the factory radio.

2.2 Wiring Connections
Connect the provided cables to the corresponding ports on the back of the head unit and to your vehicle's wiring harness. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Power Cables: Use the appropriate VW Big Head or VW Small Head power cable to connect the head unit to the vehicle's power supply.
- GPS Antenna: Connect the GPS antenna and position it in a location with a clear view of the sky (e.g., on the dashboard).
- USB/Reverse Line: Connect the 6P USB and Reverse Line cable. The reverse line is essential for backup camera functionality.
- RCA AV Cables: Connect any external audio/video devices using the RCA AV cables.
- Camera Cable: If installing a backup camera, connect its cable to the designated input on the head unit.

2.3 Initial Power-On and Configuration
After all connections are made, reconnect the vehicle's battery. Power on the head unit. Follow the on-screen prompts for initial setup, including language selection, time zone, and Wi-Fi connection.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto
Connect your smartphone wirelessly to access Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. This allows you to use navigation, make calls, send messages, and play music directly from your phone's interface on the head unit's screen.
- Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your smartphone.
- On the head unit, select the CarPlay or Android Auto application.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to pair your device.

3.2 Bluetooth Phone/Music Connection
Pair your mobile phone via Bluetooth for hands-free calling and audio streaming.
- Go to the Bluetooth settings on the head unit.
- Enable Bluetooth on your phone and search for available devices.
- Select the head unit's name from the list and pair.
- You can now make/receive calls and play music through the car's speakers.

3.3 FM/RDS Radio
Tune into your favorite radio stations with the built-in FM/RDS tuner.
- Select the 'Radio' application from the main menu.
- Use the on-screen controls to scan for stations or manually tune to a frequency.
- RDS (Radio Data System) provides additional information like station name and program type.

3.4 Application Split Screen Function
The split-screen feature allows you to run two applications simultaneously, such as navigation and music playback.
- Open the first application.
- Long-press the recent apps button or drag from the side (depending on Android version) to activate split-screen mode.
- Select the second application to run alongside the first.

3.5 Wi-Fi Connection
Connect to a Wi-Fi network to access online features, download apps, browse the internet, and stream content.
- Go to 'Settings' and then 'Wi-Fi'.
- Select an available network and enter the password if required.

3.6 Steering Wheel Control (SWC)
The head unit supports steering wheel controls, allowing you to manage audio and calls without taking your hands off the wheel. This unit works with a digital SWC.
- Access the 'Steering Wheel Control' settings in the system menu.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to map your vehicle's steering wheel buttons to the desired functions.

3.7 Multimedia Playback
The unit supports various digital media formats including MP3, MP4, and JPEG. It also supports 4K UHD video decoding for high-definition playback.

3.8 Digital Sound Processor (DSP)
The integrated DSP power amplifier provides an adjustable, stereo surround listening experience with multiple sound field switching options, allowing you to fine-tune the audio output.

3.9 Backup Camera Support
The unit supports 1080P AHD backup cameras, providing a high-definition inverted image for clearer and safer reversing. The camera typically features a 170° wide angle and is IP69 waterproof and shockproof.

4. Maintenance
4.1 General Care
- Keep the screen clean using a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Do not expose the unit to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
- Ensure all cables are securely connected and not pinched.
4.2 Cooling System
The head unit features a self-contained cooling fan to maintain optimal operating temperature. Ensure the fan vents are not obstructed to allow proper airflow.

4.3 USB and Type-C Connections
The unit includes USB and Type-C ports for connecting external devices. When connecting your phone or other devices, remove the protective cover and connect directly to the appropriate socket.

5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your multimedia player, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Power: Check all power connections and ensure the vehicle's battery is properly connected. Verify fuses are intact.
- No Sound: Check speaker connections. Ensure volume is not muted or set too low. Verify audio output settings.
- GPS Signal Lost: Ensure the GPS antenna is correctly installed and has a clear view of the sky. Move the antenna if necessary.
- Bluetooth Connection Issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both the head unit and your phone. Try unpairing and re-pairing the devices.
- CarPlay/Android Auto Not Connecting: Ensure your phone's operating system is up to date. Try restarting both the head unit and your phone. Check USB cable if using wired connection.
- Screen Unresponsive: Try restarting the unit. If the issue persists, a factory reset might be necessary (refer to system settings).
- Steering Wheel Controls Not Working: Verify the CAN-Bus connection (if applicable) and ensure the SWC settings are correctly configured in the system menu.
