4.1. For Ø3.0mm/Ø2.0mm Round Cable Operation

  1. Insert the cable: Pass the optical cable through the tail boot.
  2. Strip the cable jacket: Use Miller pliers to strip 50mm of the cable's outer jacket.
  3. Mark the stripping point: Use the cutting jig to mark the precise stripping point.
  4. Strip the fiber cover: Carefully remove the fiber's protective coating.
  5. Check the fiber: Bend the fiber in four directions (forward, backward, left, right) to 60° to check for any damage.
  6. Fix the fiber: Secure the fiber in place.
  7. Cut the fiber: Use the cutting jig to cut the fiber to the correct length. Ensure the fiber cleaver stopper is aligned.
  8. Check cutting length: Verify the fiber cutting length (typically 26.3mm, with 9-10mm bare wire).
  9. Insert the fiber: Carefully insert the fiber into the connector until the fibers meet inside.
  10. Lock the fiber: Push the locker forward to secure the fiber.
  11. Lock the kevlar: Straighten the kevlar and screw the tail boot 1-2 rounds to tighten.
  12. Complete the assembly: Ensure all parts are securely assembled.

4.2. For 3.0*2.0mm Drop Cable Operation

  1. Insert the cable: Pass the drop cable through the tail boot and tube.
  2. Strip the cable jacket: Use Miller pliers to strip 50mm of the cable's outer jacket.
  3. Strip the fiber coating: Ensure the Miller pliers' blade touches the cutting jig, then remove the 250um coating.
  4. Check the fiber: Bend the fiber in four directions (forward, backward, left, right) to 60° to check for any damage.
  5. Fix the fiber: Secure the fiber in place.
  6. Cut the fiber: Use the cutting jig to cut the fiber to the correct length. Ensure the fiber cleaver stopper is aligned.
  7. Check cutting length: Verify the fiber cutting length (typically 26.3mm, with 8-10mm bare fiber).
  8. Insert the fiber: Carefully insert the fiber into the connector until the fibers meet inside.
  9. Lock the fiber: Push the locker forward to secure the fiber.
  10. Lock the cable: Screw the tail boot tightly.
  11. Complete the assembly: Ensure all parts are securely assembled.
