Important Safety Instructions

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  • To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the appliance in water or other liquid.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
  • The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.

  • Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
  • Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
  • Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
  • This appliance is for household use only.

Setup and Installation

Unpacking

Carefully remove the induction hob from its packaging. Inspect for any damage during transit. Keep packaging materials until you are satisfied with the product.

Placement and Ventilation

The Cooksir induction hob is designed for built-in installation. Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance. The cutout dimensions required are 49 cm x 27 cm.

Electrical Connection

The hob operates on 220V and comes with a 16A EU plug. Ensure your electrical outlet is compatible and properly grounded. The total power consumption is 3500 Watts.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel Overview

The hob features a sensitive touchpad control. To adjust power, slide your finger from left to right on the designated slider.

  • Power Levels: 9 adjustable power levels.
  • Boost Function (B): Provides maximum power for 5 minutes for rapid heating.
  • Timer Function: Set cooking times up to 99 minutes.
  • Safety Lock: Prevents accidental changes to settings.
  • Pan Detection: Automatically detects suitable cookware.

Cookware Compatibility

Only use cookware with magnetic bottoms. The hob features automatic pan detection. Cookware diameter should be greater than 14 cm for individual zones and greater than 16 cm for the combined zone.

Cooking Zones

The hob has two independent cooking zones, which can also be combined for larger cookware.

  • Front Zone: 18cm - 1500 Watts
  • Rear Zone: 18cm - 1800 Watts (Boost to 2000 Watts)
  • Flexible Combined Zone: 37 x 20 cm - 3000 Watts

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning the Surface

  • Always ensure the hob is cool and unplugged before cleaning.
  • Wipe the glass ceramic surface with a soft cloth and mild detergent.
  • For stubborn stains, use the provided scraper or a specialized ceramic hob cleaner.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals that could damage the surface.
  • Dry the surface thoroughly after cleaning to prevent water spots.

General Care

  • Do not drop heavy objects on the glass surface.
  • Avoid dragging cookware across the surface to prevent scratches.
  • Ensure proper ventilation is maintained around the hob.
