1. Introduction
The Fitcare RC905 ANT+ Receiver Fitness Hub is designed to collect and transmit fitness data from various wearable and fitness devices during group training sessions. It supports multiple wireless communication protocols including ANT+, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), WiFi, and 4G mobile networks, offering flexible data transfer options to web platforms or applications. This device is ideal for monitoring performance in a wide range of sports and fitness activities.

2. Setup
2.1 Package Contents
Ensure all components are present:
- Fitcare RC905 Receiver Unit
- Power Adapter (5V USB Type-C or 12V)
- Antennas (if applicable to your model)
- User Manual (this document)
2.2 Physical Connections
Refer to Figure 2 for an overview of the ports on the RC905 receiver.

- **Power Connection**: Connect the provided power adapter to the appropriate power input port (Type-C 5V or 12V DC).
- **Antenna Installation**: If your model includes external antennas, carefully screw them into the designated antenna ports on the rear of the device.
- **Network Connection (Choose one)**:
- **Wired Ethernet (RJ45)**: Connect an Ethernet cable from your router or network switch to the RJ45 port on the receiver.
- **Wireless WiFi**: The device supports 2.4G & 5G dual-frequency WiFi. Configuration will typically be done via a connected application or web interface.
- **4G Mobile Network**: Insert a compatible 4G SIM card into the Micro SIM slot. Ensure the SIM card is activated and has a data plan.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Powering On and Initializing
Once all physical connections are made, power on the device. The indicator lights on the front panel will illuminate to show status (e.g., power, network connectivity, data reception).
3.2 Data Collection for Group Training
The RC905 acts as a central hub for collecting fitness data from multiple devices. It supports a wide range of sensors and protocols:
- **ANT+ Devices**: The receiver can scan and collect data from up to 64 standard ANT+ heart rate devices simultaneously. The number of other ANT+ equipment types is unlimited.
- **Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Devices**: As a central device, it can connect to up to 19 Bluetooth devices simultaneously.
Supported devices include, but are not limited to:

The wireless range for BLE is approximately 35m, and for ANT+ is 30m. WiFi range is up to 50m.
3.3 Data Transmission and Display
Collected data is processed and transferred to a cloud server, which can then be displayed and managed on smart devices such as TVs or iPads. This allows for real-time monitoring during group training sessions.

4. Maintenance
- **Cleaning**: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
- **Storage**: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- **Software Updates**: Periodically check for firmware updates from the manufacturer to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
- **Reset Function**: The device includes a 'RESET' button (refer to Figure 2). This can be used to restart the device or restore factory settings if instructed by support.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 No Power
- Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the device and a working power outlet.
- Verify that the power outlet is functional.
- Try a different compatible power adapter if available.
5.2 No Network Connection
- **Wired Ethernet**: Check if the Ethernet cable is properly connected and if your router/network is active.
- **WiFi**: Ensure the device is within range of a configured WiFi network and that the network credentials are correct.
- **4G Mobile Network**: Verify that the 4G SIM card is correctly inserted, activated, and has an active data plan. Check the 4G signal strength in your location.
5.3 Unable to Receive Data from Fitness Devices
- Ensure the fitness devices are powered on and within the wireless range (BLE 35m / ANT+ 30m).
- Verify that the fitness devices are compatible with ANT+ or BLE protocols.
- Check for any interference from other electronic devices.
- Restart both the RC905 receiver and the fitness devices.
