Applications and Usage
The 365nm UV light is ideal for detecting substances that fluoresce under ultraviolet radiation. It is less visible to the naked eye than 395nm UV light, making it more effective for specific detection tasks by minimizing visible light interference.
Common Uses:
- Pet Urine Detection: Easily find dry pet urine and other stains on carpets, furniture, or floors that are invisible to the naked eye.
- Scorpion Finding: Scorpions glow brightly under 365nm UV light, making them easy to spot in dark environments.
- Currency and Document Authentication: Verify the authenticity of banknotes, passports, driver's licenses, and other official documents by revealing hidden security features.
- Fluorescent Agent Detection: Identify fluorescent agents in cosmetics, textiles, and other products.
- Leak Detection: Detect leaks in HVAC systems, automotive engines, and other machinery when used with UV-sensitive dyes.
- Mineral and Gemstone Inspection: Observe fluorescence in certain minerals and gemstones.
- Hygiene Inspection: Reveal hidden dirt and contaminants in bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the lens clean for optimal performance.
- Battery Care: If the flashlight will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. Store batteries in a cool, dry place.
- Storage: Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Water Resistance: Ensure all caps and covers (e.g., charging port flap) are securely closed to maintain the flashlight's waterproof rating.
Troubleshooting
- Flashlight not turning on:
- Check if the batteries are correctly installed with the right polarity.
- Ensure the batteries are charged. Recharge if necessary.
- Verify that the tail cap is screwed on tightly.
- Light is dim or flickering:
- The batteries may be low. Recharge the flashlight.
- Clean the battery contacts and the flashlight's internal contacts with a clean cloth.
- Charging not working:
- Ensure the USB Type-C cable is properly connected to both the flashlight and the power source.
- Try a different USB cable or power adapter.
User Tips
- For optimal detection results, especially for faint stains or security features, use the flashlight in a dark or dimly lit environment. The 365nm UV light performs best when ambient visible light is minimized.
- When using the power output function to charge other devices, be mindful of the flashlight's remaining battery life to ensure you still have enough power for its primary UV function.
