1. Introduction
The Kaiweets KC602 is a smart digital clamp meter designed for accurate and versatile electrical measurements. It features a 6000-count display, True-RMS capability, auto-ranging, and a range of functions including AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, resistance, continuity, capacitance, diode, NCV detection, and temperature measurement. Its intelligent mode automatically identifies measurement signals for ease of use, and the large HD color screen ensures clear readings in various lighting conditions.

2. Setup
2.1. Package Contents
- 1 x Kaiweets KC602 Clamp Meter
- 2 x Test Leads
- 1 x Storage Bag
- 3 x AAA Batteries (required and included)
- 1 x User Manual (this document)
2.2. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clamp meter.
- Open the battery cover.
- Insert 3 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery cover securely.
2.3. Connecting Test Leads
- Insert the red test lead into the 'INPUT' jack.
- Insert the black test lead into the 'COM' jack.
- Ensure connections are firm before use.
2.4. Initial Power-On and Self-Test
Press the power button (
) to turn on the device. The clamp meter will automatically perform a self-test and display "CAL" to ensure measurement accuracy. This is a normal operation.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1. Smart Mode
Upon power-on, the meter defaults to intelligent mode. In this mode, it automatically identifies AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, resistance, and continuity measurement signals, simplifying operation.
3.2. Measurement Functions
The KC602 offers a wide range of measurement capabilities:
- AC/DC Voltage Test: Use test leads to measure voltage across circuits.
- AC/DC Current Test: Use the clamp jaw to measure current without breaking the circuit. Ensure the conductor is placed centrally within the jaw.
- Resistance, Continuity, Capacitance, Diode Test: These functions are accessible via the mode selection button. Use the test leads for these measurements.
- NCV (Non-contact Voltage) Detection: Detect AC voltage without physical contact. The meter indicates low or high voltage levels.
- Inrush Current Test: Measures the initial surge of current when a device is turned on. The measurement range is 5-600A. This function is only available in AC current mode.
- Temperature Measurement: The device supports temperature measurement.

3.3. Additional Features
- HD Large Color Screen: Provides clear readings, even in dimly lit or bright conditions.
- Flashlight/Backlight: Integrated flashlight for working in dark environments.
- Auto Shut-off: The meter will automatically power off after 15 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.
- MAX/MIN: Records maximum and minimum measured values.
- Data Hold: Freezes the current reading on the display.
- D-shaped Jaws: Designed to hold test leads for convenience and portability.

4. Maintenance
4.1. General Care
- Keep the device clean and dry. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth if necessary. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Store the clamp meter in its provided storage bag when not in use to protect it from dust and damage.
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
4.2. Battery Replacement
When the battery indicator shows low power, replace the 3 AAA batteries promptly to ensure accurate measurements and proper device function. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 2.2.
5. Troubleshooting
- Device does not power on: Check if the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace batteries if necessary.
- Inaccurate readings: Ensure test leads are properly connected. Verify that the correct measurement mode is selected. For current measurements, ensure the conductor is centered in the clamp jaw.
- "CAL" display on startup: This is a normal self-test process and indicates the device is calibrating for accuracy.
- Display is dim or flickering: Replace batteries.

8. User Tips
- Always read the full user manual before operating the device to ensure safe and accurate measurements.
- When measuring current with the clamp, ensure only one conductor is inside the jaw for an accurate reading. Measuring multiple conductors will result in an incorrect reading due to opposing magnetic fields.
- Utilize the flashlight feature in poorly lit areas to improve visibility and safety during measurements.
- The auto shut-off feature helps conserve battery life; remember to turn off the device manually if you are done with measurements and want to ensure it doesn't stay on.
