The adapter supports both Wireless CarPlay (for iOS 10 and above) and Wireless Android Auto (for Android 11 and above, equipped with 5GHz Wi-Fi). It is designed for plug-and-play operation and features 5.8GHz Wi-Fi for a stable connection. The compact design ensures it is fashionable and portable.

Compatibility
This adapter is designed to convert existing wired CarPlay and Android Auto systems to wireless. It is compatible with 99% of cars on the market that have factory wired CarPlay or wired Android Auto.
To ensure compatibility, please check the following requirements:
- For Wireless CarPlay: Your iPhone must be running iOS 10 or Newer.
- For Wireless Android Auto: Your Android smartphone must be running Android 11 or Newer and be equipped with 5GHz Wi-Fi.
How to check if your car has wired CarPlay/Android Auto:

Important Note:
If your car only has wired CarPlay but does not have wired Android Auto, the wireless Android Auto function will not work with this adapter. The adapter requires your car to have both wired CarPlay and wired Android Auto functions for full wireless compatibility.


Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to set up your Ezonetronics Wireless CarPlay Android Auto 2-in-1 Adapter:
Step 1: Plug in the Adapter
Plug the adapter into the USB port of your vehicle. This port may be marked with a CarPlay car icon or a smartphone icon. Ensure the USB port supports data transmission.

Step 2: Automatic Connection
After the first enabling, the adapter will automatically connect within 5-10 seconds.

Step 3: Pairing with your Smartphone
You will see a prompt image on your car's display. Connect your phone to the corresponding Bluetooth name (e.g., "SmartBox-xxxx").
For iPhone:
- Before pairing, forget any previously connected Bluetooth and Wi-Fi devices (e.g., factory car Bluetooth, Wi-Fi dashcamera).
- Turn on your iPhone's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
- Pair to the Bluetooth device named "SmartBox-xxxx".
- Tap "Pair", "Allow", and "Use CarPlay" on the iPhone pop-up notifications.
- Your iPhone will connect to wireless CarPlay after a few seconds.
For Android:
- Before pairing, forget any previously connected Bluetooth and Wi-Fi devices (e.g., factory car Bluetooth, Wi-Fi dashcamera).
- Turn on your Android smartphone's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
- Pair to the Bluetooth device named "SmartBox-xxxx".
- Tap "Pair" and "Allow" on the Android smartphone pop-up notifications.
- Your Android phone will connect to wireless Android Auto after a few seconds.
Note: Android Auto does not typically display a prompt image like CarPlay. After the initial connection, the prompt image will not be displayed unless you forget the current device and reconnect.
Operating the Adapter
Once connected, the Ezonetronics adapter allows you to use your car's original control methods for a seamless experience with Wireless CarPlay or Android Auto.
- Voice Assistant Control: Use Siri for CarPlay or Google Assistant for Android Auto to navigate, play music, make calls, and more, hands-free.
- Steering Wheel Control: Control media playback, answer calls, and activate voice assistants directly from your car's steering wheel buttons.
- Touch Screen Control: Interact with the CarPlay or Android Auto interface directly via your car's touch screen display.
- OEM Knob Control: For vehicles equipped with an OEM control knob, you can use it to navigate through the CarPlay or Android Auto menus.

Online Upgrade (OTA)
The adapter supports Over-The-Air (OTA) updates to ensure you always have the latest software and features. If you encounter any problems, you can submit feedback, and new software releases will be provided.
Important: Do NOT plug the adapter into the car stereo for upgrades.
Many car stereo USB ports may lose power during an update, which can cause the adapter to fail. Always plug the adapter into a stable power supply source, such as a phone charger or a computer's USB port, when performing an upgrade.
Upgrade Steps:
- Connect your iPhone to the adapter's Wi-Fi network. The default password is 12345678. If your phone cannot find the Wi-Fi network, manually join the network named "[SmartBox-xxxx]".
- On your iPhone's browser, enter 192.168.200.1.
- Tap "upgrade" if an update is available.

- Check Car Compatibility: Before purchasing, verify that your car has factory-wired CarPlay or Android Auto. This adapter converts wired systems to wireless, it does not add CarPlay/Android Auto functionality to cars that don't already have it.
- Forget Previous Bluetooth/Wi-Fi: For a smooth first-time connection, ensure your phone has forgotten any previous car Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connections before pairing with the adapter.

Q: What should I do if there is no response when I plug in the product?

- Replug the adapter.
- Pull out the product, then check if the original car's wired Apple CarPlay/Android Auto can be used normally.
- If it is still not working, please contact us to get a replacement.
Q: Can't connect automatically.
A:
- Please turn on your phone's Bluetooth and WLAN, and make sure both Bluetooth and WLAN do not connect to other devices. Neglect the original car Bluetooth.
- Replug the adapter. If it doesn't work, then forget this adapter's Bluetooth on your phone. Reboot your phone and repair the Bluetooth.
- If it still doesn't help, please reference the "Online Upgrade" section to upgrade the firmware.
Q: When stuck in the connection state, and it keeps connecting, what should I do?

- Please click settings - clear pair list, and ignore the Bluetooth pairing record on the phone, then restart your phone.
- Restore the factory settings of the original car.
Q: My phone can identify the product Bluetooth/Wi-Fi, but my car does not enter the connection page.
A:
- Reset the box: Use your phone to scan the QR code (if provided in the manual) or enter 192.168.200.1 on your iPhone's or Android smartphone browser. Then select "Factory reset".
- Restore the factory settings of your original car system.
Warranty and Support
If we repair or replace a product, the repaired or replaced product shall be warranted for the remaining time of the original warranty period. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any quality problem, you shall return the item in its original condition within 30 days of receipt, and we will gladly provide a refund, replacement, or an exchange. Any items received after 30 days will not be accepted for refund. For any items received after 30 days, we will provide repair service during the warranty period.
Our warranty does NOT cover the following situations:
- Warranty expired.
- Damage caused by human factors, accident, misuse of the product.
- Products purchased from unauthorized channels.
- Unauthorized alteration to change of parts or components of the product.
- Failure to provide a receipt or proof of purchase.
