Low Battery Alert

  • The bait boat features a low battery warning system. Pay attention to any visual or audible alerts from the boat or remote control.
  • When a low battery alert is triggered, immediately return the boat to shore to avoid losing it.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: After each use, especially in saltwater, rinse the boat thoroughly with fresh water to remove any debris, salt, or bait residue. Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
  • Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not store fully charged or fully depleted for extended periods. Charge them to about 50-60% for long-term storage.
  • Propeller Inspection: Regularly check the propellers for any fishing line, weeds, or other obstructions. Remove them carefully to prevent damage to the motors.
  • Seals and Gaskets: Inspect all seals and gaskets around battery compartments and other openings to ensure they are intact and free from damage, maintaining the boat's waterproof integrity.
  • Remote Control: Keep the remote control dry and clean. Remove batteries if storing for an extended period.

Troubleshooting

  • Boat not responding to remote:
    - Ensure both the boat and remote are powered on.
    - Check battery levels for both devices.
    - Ensure you are within the 300m operating range.
    - Re-pair the remote and boat if necessary (refer to specific pairing instructions if provided with your model, typically involves powering on in a specific sequence).
  • Boat not moving straight:
    - Use the Left/Right Trim buttons on the remote control to adjust the boat's tracking.
  • Bait hoppers not opening:
    - Check for any obstructions in the hopper mechanism.
    - Ensure the boat has sufficient power.
  • Short operating time:
    - Ensure batteries are fully charged before use.
    - Consider upgrading to a higher capacity battery (e.g., 12000mAh or 18000mAh) for longer runtime.
  • Lights not working:
    - Press the Lighting Button on the remote to cycle through modes.
    - Check for physical damage to the LEDs.

User Tips

  • Pre-check: Always perform a quick visual inspection of the boat and remote before each outing. Check for any loose parts, propeller obstructions, or signs of damage.
  • Range Awareness: While the boat has a 300m range, always operate within a comfortable visual distance to react to unexpected situations.
  • Battery Management: Carry a spare charged battery for the boat, especially for longer fishing sessions, to maximize your time on the water.
  • Practice: Familiarize yourself with the remote control functions and boat handling in calm waters before attempting complex maneuvers or bait drops.
