5. Setup

  1. Unpacking:

    • Carefully remove the refrigerator from its packaging.
    • Inspect the unit for any signs of damage. If damaged, do not use and contact customer support.
    • Ensure all package contents listed in Section 3 are present.
  2. Positioning:

    • Place the refrigerator on a firm, level surface.
    • Allow at least 10 cm (4 inches) of space around all sides for proper ventilation.
    • Avoid placing the unit near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
  3. Power Connection:

    The MR-Z55 supports three main power supply methods:

    • DC 12V/24V (Car Power): Connect the DC car connection cable to the refrigerator's DC input port and then to your vehicle's 12V or 24V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket). The unit features built-in voltage detection and low voltage protection to prevent car battery over-discharging.

    • AC 100-240V (Home Power): Connect the AC power cord to the refrigerator's AC input port and then to a standard wall outlet.

    • Solar Panel + Power Station: For off-grid use, the unit can be powered via a compatible solar panel and power station setup (cables and power station sold separately).

  4. Initial Power-On:

    • After connecting to power, press the 'On/Off' button on the control panel to turn on the refrigerator.
    • Allow the unit to run for at least 30 minutes to reach the desired temperature before loading items.

  1. Control Panel Functions:

    • Temperature Display: Shows the current temperature of each zone.
    • Left/Right Box Refrigeration Switch: Allows independent control of the two compartments, enabling one to be a fridge and the other a freezer, or both to be the same.
    • Child Lock Button: Activates/deactivates the child lock feature to prevent accidental changes to settings.
    • Temperature Drop Button (-): Decreases the target temperature.
    • Temperature Rise Button (+): Increases the target temperature.
    • On/Off Button: Powers the unit on or off.
    • Set Button: Used to confirm temperature settings or enter menu options.
  2. Setting Temperature:

    • Press the 'Set' button to select the zone you wish to adjust (left or right).
    • Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set your desired temperature.
    • The temperature will automatically set after a few seconds of inactivity or by pressing 'Set' again.
  3. Dual Zone Operation:

    The MR-Z55 features an intelligent dual temperature zone function, allowing you to configure each compartment independently.

    • Use the 'Left/Right Box Refrigeration Switch' to toggle between controlling the left or right compartment's temperature.
    • You can set one compartment for refrigeration (e.g., 0°C to 10°C) and the other for freezing (e.g., -18°C to -20°C).
  4. Battery Protection:

    The unit includes a 3-stage battery protection system to prevent your vehicle's battery from draining completely. You can typically adjust this setting (H/M/L for High/Medium/Low protection) via the control panel or a dedicated button.
