5. Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all items listed in the 'Package Content' section for your specific model are present.
2. Placement: Place the printer on a stable, level surface in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure sufficient space around the printer for operation and maintenance.
3. Power Connection: Connect the power cable to the printer and then to a grounded electrical outlet.
4. USB/Ethernet Connection: Connect the printer to your computer using the provided USB cable or an Ethernet cable, depending on your model's interface.
5. Software Installation: Install the printing software (Maintop/RIIN/PP or AcroRIP White ver10.3) on a compatible 64-bit Windows operating system (Windows 7/10/11). Follow the on-screen instructions for installation.
6. Ink Loading: Fill the continuous ink supply system (CISS) tanks with the appropriate CMYKWW DTF inks. Ensure each color is filled into its corresponding tank.
7. White Ink System: For models with white ink mixing and circulation systems, ensure they are properly connected and functioning to prevent ink settling.
8. Film Loading: Load the DTF PET film onto the printer's film tray or roll feeder according to the specific model's instructions. Ensure the film is flat and properly aligned.
9. Accessory Setup (if applicable): If using a Powder Shaker or DTF Film Oven, set them up according to their respective instructions and connect them to power.

6. Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Turn on the printer and allow it to initialize.
2. Software Preparation: Open the printing software on your computer. Import your design and adjust settings such as print size, resolution (e.g., 1440*1440dpi), and ink channels (CMYKWW).
3. White Ink Management: Ensure the white ink mixing/circulation system is active before printing to prevent nozzle clogging.
4. Print Job: Send the print job from the software to the printer. The printer will print the design onto the DTF PET film.

5. Powder Application (if applicable): Immediately after printing, apply DTF powder evenly over the wet ink on the film. Use a Powder Shaker for best results.
6. Curing (if applicable): Place the powdered film into the DTF Film Oven or Oven. Set the temperature and time according to the powder manufacturer's recommendations (typically 140-160°C for 90-120 seconds).
7. Transfer: Once the film is cured, it is ready for transfer. Place the cured film onto the desired fabric item (T-shirt, hoodie, etc.) and use a heat press to transfer the design. Follow heat press manufacturer's instructions for temperature, pressure, and time.

7. Maintenance

• Daily Cleaning: Perform a nozzle check and head cleaning cycle daily or before each printing session to ensure optimal print quality.
• White Ink System: Regularly check the white ink mixing and circulation system. Ensure it is always running when the printer is on to prevent white ink from settling and clogging the print head.

• Print Head Cleaning: If print quality degrades, perform a more thorough print head cleaning using the software utility. If necessary, use a lint-free cloth and print head cleaning solution to gently wipe the print head surface.
• Waste Ink Tank: Monitor the waste ink tank level and empty it regularly to prevent overflow.
• Film Path Cleaning: Keep the film path and suction platform clean from dust, ink residue, and powder to ensure smooth film feeding.
• Software Updates: Periodically check for and install software updates for your printing software to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.
• Storage: If the printer will not be used for an extended period, perform a thorough cleaning, cap the ink cartridges (if applicable), and store it in a cool, dry place.
