  • **Spills**: Clean up spills immediately to prevent staining or damage to the engineered wood.
  • **Hardware Check**: Periodically check all screws, bolts, and fasteners to ensure they are tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain stability.
  • **Wheel Care**: Keep wheels free of debris to ensure smooth rolling.
  • **Avoid Extreme Conditions**: Do not expose the island to extreme temperatures or humidity, as this can cause warping or damage.

7. Troubleshooting

Island is wobbly after assembly.
Ensure all screws and cam locks are fully tightened. Check that the island is on a level surface. If not, adjust the position or use shims.
Drawer does not slide smoothly.
Verify that the drawer slides are correctly installed and aligned on both the drawer and the island frame. Ensure no debris is obstructing the slides. Lubricate with a silicone-based spray if needed.
Cabinet doors are misaligned.
Adjust the hinges on the cabinet doors. Most hinges allow for minor adjustments to align the doors properly.
Wheels do not lock or roll properly.
Check for any obstructions in the wheels. Ensure the brake levers are fully engaged or disengaged. Clean any hair or debris from the wheel axles.
